Looking at the last house ideas that have not revealed yet, the hint on Thinner makes me of Judge Doom from Roger Rabbit who kills the Toons with the dip as a method of execution. So, it got me thinking that it’s the icon house that may revolve around a cartoonist.
You are Correct, it does revolve around Cartoons, and it is the Icon House! The “THINNER” house is called…
Ani-Massacres.
The house will be located in Soundstage 24 (where “Insidious” was.) Before I give out the description of this amazing (and hilarious) house. I think it’s best if I first describe who the Icon is, as well as his lore.
The Icon for my Fan-Event is called…
Rudy The Cat. He is a black Toon Cat. The best way to describe him is imagine one of the Annimaniacs Warners had the rude foul mouthed Insult-like personality of Chucky, but also the Meta-style humor of Deadpool.
Rudy will be the most funniest HHN icon to date. He will also be the very first Icon in a Mascot costume. The costume will be operated similar to a Furry suit, where whenever the actors mouth moves, Rudy moves as well. His Eyes will also have LED screens to give him that wild cartoony range of expressions.
RUDY THE CAT Lore =
The story behind Rudy, is that he was once a former animator named
Dick Rudy, who used to work at a cartoon studio called “DoodleMeat Toons.” He got fired from the studio, as his work and ideas were too dark, and “Shocking” for the studio’s standards. Plus the CEO of the studio would much rather green light another season or spin-off to their company mascot “Mr. DoodleMeat” (a talking Toon sandwich who is like a cross between The Minions, and Skibidi Toilet).
Dick soon worked at a nearby video game store to help make ends meet (This will be the first half of the Tribute Store.) While there, he swore to take revenge on the CEO and all the workers at the studio for rejecting his work.
Dick soon heard that
The Museum of International Folklore (This will be the second half of the Tribute Store) had just accepted new artifacts for their exhibits, one of those artifacts was “The Rotting Stone.” He remembered there being some ancient words at the base that, when spoke aloud (according to legend), can bring in-animate objects to life. He snuck into the museum one night, wrote the Summoning chant on the stone, and placed a portrait of Rudy The Cat nearby, with a smear of his own blood on it.
When he got back to the video game store the next day, he murdered a customer so he can purposely get arrested. As expected, he was given the death penalty. When they strapped Dick to the electric chair, the executioner asked if he had any last words. Dick then started reciting the foreign incantation to awaking “The Rotting Stone” in the Museum. As he is electrocuted, his soul is then transferred into the Toon portrait (thanks to the blood), and as the stone brings the museum to life, so does Rudy The Cat! Rudy pulls a chunk of the rotting stone out, morphs them into spikes, and places them on the end of his iconic mallet. He then leaves the museum and heads on over to the studio to finally take his revenge…Which is where the story of the
Ani-Massacres house takes place.
After the events of the house unfold, Rudy is driven insane with psychotic power. He then plans on taking over the world, as he had run out of ideas of what to do after his revenge. But before he can bring his reign of Terror to the globe, he decides to take a vacation at HHN, along with his Killer Toon crew. And that is how my fan-event unfolds. Most of the original houses and zones in my lineup are all the rejected ideas Dick pitched to “DoodleMeat Toons.”
Additional information coming soon. Stay tuned (no pun intended).
