I'll probably stop by Uni on Saturday to check out DM. I get off of work at three so I'll probably be there around 4 if anyone on here wants to meet up. I may stay until closing.

They're doing special previews in the morning, but not open to the GP. I think Friday would be the best bet.

I'm guessing they're reserving the day for the media possibly (???) then... I still think there's ever so slightly of a chance of opening.

It'll definitely open for the weekend crowds.

All I can say, from my end working it, that our management was happy and impressed with how smoothly things ran on the actual ride. Naturally, people were running around like chicken with no heads but once 5pm came along and people started walking up the queue, people got their game on!

I was only able to go out for like 40 min during my lunch break and saw the store and it looks great! SSFL also looks amazing even though it's not complete.

Really impressed with the project and the results.

Knew it would open. There's no freaking way they'd just keep it shuttered after such a smooth employee preview night, especially considering TF's was a little more rocky and opened the next day as well.

I know... I can't believe the price, either.

The new store is fantastically decorated and themed, no doubt the best looking store in the park.

I rode it twice today and both times did not go smoothly. The first time went fairly well, but there was an announcer who kept having to tell people to stop video recording. We're going to be getting a lot of that in the coming months. The 2nd time I rode it the screen just froze and audio stopped and they had to unload everyone. They did have a cute spiel about how "Vector was hacking the computer systems". Overall the area is very nice. I have high hopes for Super Silly Fun Land and everything else coming to USH in the next 2 years.

They evacuated the ride and queue at around 5:45 because the fire alarm went off. Fire trucks were heading up the hill as I was leaving so maybe it wasn't a false alarm or maybe it was just a test for emergency conditions.

Just a false alarm, I was in line when it happened. Talked to some CMs after, they were confused at first. Handled it very professionally though.

Quite possibly. But I can imagine the first issue is a very common one.

I really hope it was a planned alarm. If not that's one extremely rocky first day of tech rehearsals. But you just gotta get through it all.
