^ what more would you want in terms of DM theming besides Minion Mayhem and it's massive facade and a whole Super Silly Funland...?

I wouldn't be surprised if they added a Minion show of sorts in the future

SPOILER:

I hope I'm not the only one that would LOVE to see a "Fairy Princess Gru" for a Meet & Greet!

I wouldn't want to see the Parisian and London streets altered to become a part of the Despicable Me area. I love them the way they are now, some of the nicest parts of USH.

I think we should really appreciate them while they last. I love them because they're so detailed, and calm since T2:3D left. I can definitely see Universal chipping away at those streets to add more theming to other attractions nearby.

I could see them theming parts of those streets to DM to balance WWoHP. I hope they don't but it kind of wouldn't surprise me if they did :/

Yeah, that's exactly what I mean. Now that they're going this "cohesive" route, it would suprise me if we were abruptly transported from European streets to minion mania.

There's nothing wrong with Parisian or London streets. They're still popular photo op areas, amazingly detailed, and still fit the studio feel. Also, there's nothing significant from either Despicable Me movies that would warrant a retheme of both those streets. My opinion is that they're staying for a long while.

Yeah. Those building have been recently refurbished and a new sign of the London Street finally can after a while. It's a good change. I feel that the Europe street feels a little too wide in my opinion.

It seems wide and empty now, but once Gru's laboratory is open for business, that street will be flooded with guests exiting the HOH, the shop near Mel's, UP, and guests who just wanna ride Minion Mayhem in general.

I think they should be left as-is. I love the occasional Streetmosphere characters and mini shows they add to both streets! That's what puts Universal and Disney over the top for me :)

What does it start on? Super Silly Fun Land or the ride?

I've been posting this article around, but this quote really stood out:

"'Despicable Me 2' is going to turn out to be the single most profitable film in the 100-plus year history of Universal Pictures," NBCUniversal Chief Executive Steve Burke said.

Yeah, I quoted that quote in one of my posts too! Pretty incredible, yeah?

I'll repeat my thoughts from the other post. With those kind of numbers, I sort of feel that Universal jumped the gun on Despicable Me. I feel that the franchise deserves a bigger and grander ride and experience. It's a huge worldwide hit for Universal. Universal hasn't had that in so long....

I hope Universal takes this time to slightly reevaluate the ride experience in Hollywood (thanks to those numbers) and makes it more impressive than originally planned, especially compared to Florida. More effects, and most importantly, they REALLY need to make it a randomized experience, like Star Tours.
