Just putting some characters in the parks for meet-and-greets earlier this year when the new movie came out would've made sense but there's barely any new movie tie-ins in the parks.

I wasn't sure where else to put this (and whether or not it's already been discussed elsewhere).. but with Disney owning 20th Century now, I wonder if they have ever considered adding 'Planet of the Apes' into Animal Kingdom. Feels like a pretty easy fit into the park.

I have a whole land idea in my head but they wouldn't do it imo.

The more I think about it the more it seems like such an obvious thing to add to the park. Honestly they could do some pretty cool stuff with it.

I've noticed this generally. I feel like I don't see anywhere near the amount of cross-promotion for stuff like new Pixar or Disney Animation films, or Disney Channel releases, or anything like that in the WDW parks. If it came out after 2018, and it's not Encanto, The Mandalorian, or occasionally Ralph Breaks the Internet, Disney World pretty much doesn't care at all. It's weird.

Now that Dinoland is officially extinct, I am going to guess that more concept art of Tropical Americans specifically what type of attraction Encanto will be (trackless ride Mystic Manor style, omnimover?) will be showed off at Destination D23 2025.

So wait what is common knowledge that it was its last day of operation? Also, I'm surprised that many showed up for it. Good freakin' riddance. :lmao: RIP Primeval Whirl 5 years ago and that's about it.

They announced a few weeks back that Dinorama & TriceraTops Spin would close, specifically highlighting that Dinosaur would remain open through 2025.

There's not much going on at the WDW parks this year, so a minor flat ride closing ends up being a bigger deal than it should lol

Any news on Kali River Rapids reopening?

My family is interested in going to WDW at the end of March and visiting this park but.. with kids, the spinner is closed, ITTBAB will just have closed, and the calendar still shows KRR as being refurbed... I don't think there's enough to justify them using 1 of the days on their ticket for here.

Even during the times when everything was running, we always had trouble spending more than 5 or 6 hours at AK. The two animal trails get old after a couple visits and there's just not much to do in the park. It's a beautiful park , BUT, we skip it most vacations unless we have a park hopper and go there for a few hours.

It’s just by far my least favorite Disney park, and now that IP’s are taking over, so much of the magic feels gone. Everest is worth the price of admission alone for me personally. However I’d rather spend an extra day at the other 3 parks than 1 day here. Outside of Pandora and Tiffins for higher end stuff, always found the food consistently the worst here too. Better than DHS quick service, but that’s a low bar!

Imo for me this is the BEST WDW park. I appreciated this park a lot more after I went to the Japan parks last year. It may not have the most attractions, but the ones that are here are amazing and this park easily has the best theming out of all the 4 WDW parks. It's a truly unique and special park. I love it. Magic Kingdom is still my favorite but that's because it's the park I visited the most growing up

I think it's the least-good WDW park for attractions (it just needs more), but the best WDW park for theming and atmosphere.
