I like dr. Doom but it could use more theming.

To make a poll-

When making a new thread, scroll to the bottom and you'll see a check box for POLL. Click on the box and select how many poll choices you want. Then, write yes, no, etc. in each text box. Hope that helps!

It has good line senery and story. Fun to ride, but nothing memberable.

I LOVE drop towers!

The only problem is... Fear Fall is not a drop tower. It launches you UP. While the positive G's are certainly fun, it's not particularly scary. The story of the ride is that Dr. Doom wants to suck the fear out of the park guests for some evil plot blah blah blah... IMO, being raised slowly to the top, only to wait in fear and anticipation for the drop, is MUCH scarier than be launched up (plus, you get a good long view and the ride lasts longer).

I've never been more nervous on a ride than I was the first time I rode the blue side of Cedar Point's Power Tower. Sitting roughly 250 feet in the air while waiting to drop really made my heart race -- and the moment you drop, is fantastic!

Plus, the name is misleading. It's not a fear FALL... it's a fear LAUNCH...

I must say on my first trip to IOA i was petrified of this ride, and even on my second visit i still had major doubts about riding i eventually plucked up the courage to ride and oh my! I loved at so much i actually can not get enough of it

i like the ride because it is themed and the outlines of people below, but i think the tower is kind of short. i am used to them being taller.

The towers can't be over 200 ft. unless they want to put a flashing red light on the towers but Uni(aslo disney) Thinks it ruins the theming.

It has sort of like strobe lights. I think? But aren't the towers less than 200 ft. anyway?

Doom is 200 ft. and it has a light.

The ride does fall because the vehicle is pulled down faster than gravity. :thumbs:

This ride is great. The queue video is hilarious. The negative g's are incredible at the apex which is definetely fearful. Just work on the capacity!

I dunno. I don't have a tape measurer long enough. But Universal says it's 200 feet tall. But it's possible it could be 199.9999 feet tall!

"indifferent" should be added to all polls... yes, no, indifferent. For me, it is just a carnival attraction, not an innovation. Yet to be fair... so is ToT, yet even part of that is a dark ride.
