Does Universal Orlando own Seaworld?

hey I wanted to know if Seaworld Orlando is owned by Universal Studios Florida since I know Seaworld has rights to Jaws and plays certain soundtracks from Universal movies.

No. It is a publicly traded company unto itself overseeing all Seaworlds and all Busch parks.

Seaworld is owned by Blackstone, Universal by Comcast, though in the past Blackstone had a stake in Universal, but that was when Seaworld was still owned by Annheuser. Seaworld and Universal do work somewhat together though, employees of one park can get freely into the other as well and they also cooperate on the flexticket.

Blackstone is only a SeaWorld shareholder at this point...they no longer own the company outright. It's now a publicly held and traded company...which is only exacerbating its current woes.
