Ok well last week I went to Dollywood to ride two things The Barnstormer and Wild Eagle. I'll start with my expiernence on Barnstoemer first, ok first of all the new area is so much better than what was there before it seems so much nicer and better themed, the ride was just WOW!!! This was the first screamin swing for me so it was a new expierence I didnt think it would be that fun but boy was I wrong that is one of my new favorite flat rides it was such an amazing feeling when you go weightless!!! Now my ride on Wild Eagle...AH-MAY-ZING the station was Beuitful it kinda felt like you were in a rustic cabin I only got to ride once with a wait of 30 minutes not to bad, but I got in the left side(an attendent chooses which side you go to, well when I was there they did) but I sat in the last row in the left side of the train the hangtime on this thing is just ridiculous!!! I would have to ride it a few more times too rank it as my favorite coaster(Rip Ride Rockit and Goliath are still my favoirtes) and the last "new" thing I tried at dollywood was Cinnamon Bread....Godly this bread was made from the Heavens it was so Amazing if you ever go to Dollywood you have to try it its not an option not to!!! Overall I had an Amazing time and im proud that this is my homepark :)

Glad you had such a good experience. I love Dollywood and really think its on the path to be the best theme park outside of Universal or Disney in North America. The Screamin Swing flats are incredibly fun and they are also my favorite type of flat ride in existence. I have not been on the one at Dollywood with all that theming so its one I will definitely be looking forward to. It's also nice to hear yet another positive review for Wild Eagle as it seems most of the Wingriders are getting mixed reviews in the form of no forces and being rather tame and uneventful.

As far as it possibly being your favorite coaster thats great! With HRRR and I assume (SFOG) Goliath being your current #1's I was curious as to what other coasters you have ridden? I thought Goliath was an amazing coaster but HRRR??? Now again I am not picking apart your choices as they are your choices. I just wanted to know what other coasters you have ridden. Better yet maybe we make or find a top ten coaster thread, hmmmm.....

Sounds limited on Coasters only. HRRR is a fun ride and I have ridden a pile of coasters. So I can understand that if you are limited. I am super excited for Dollywood this will be my 2nd trip in a few weeks to this great park. Sadly if you have only been to Orlando Parks, Dollywood is the next one it is amazing and IMO just behind Disney in Customer service.

^ Hershey is a great park and I assure you your top ten will see some major changes after leaving there. To this day Storm Runner even as short as it is still my favorite launched coaster.

My dad and his twin brother might be renting a cabin together this summer in Pigeon Forge. I'm excited. I honestly wasn't expecting to ride Wild Eagle soon.

Nice place but too many rough rides for my liking. Mystery Mine was great as long as you brace yourself and know whats coming around the corner. Blazing Fury was straight up painful, to the point of anger.
Wild Eagle was just OK, a family coadter without any memerable elements. Sad when my highest complkiment is how smooth (a new ride) it was. The thing was popular and if you want a photo op with the giant eagle out front get there e arly!

The only rides I found rough were the outside parts of Mystery Mine and Thunderhead, but it's still perfect for anyone who likes their woodies insane.

The air time on TH is truly insane! My favorite ride there, but sadly I do not feel the need to ever go back to Dollywood.

Thunderhead was smooth as glass for me after being so used to Gwazi  Amazing ride by the way.

The only ride that bothered me with roughness at Dollywood was Mystery Mine during the first outdoor portion. I went on Tennessee Tornado expecting the worst and it is surprisingly smooth.

Mystery Mine what has happened to you? I rode the ride 5 times the year it opened it was AMAZING...When Octobers Fade and I rode it May 5th I felt like they had moved Gwazi in it's place so so rough. No water Splash down on Blazing Fury...UGH..But let me say this Dollywood Qbot is amazing 30 dollars for 2 people to skip the lines is a fantastic deal.

I've been to Cedar Point twice but I never bothered with it. It's not very tall. Is it really that bad?

I don't think it is rough at all. I believe it is a really good coaster that provides a good amount of airtime. It is definitely worth a try just last year when i rode it i was completely shocked as to how fun it was.

Blue Streak in Conneaut Lake park, PA. A coaster that is like seventy four years old, I have never been on a ride that I wanted off after the first hill until that one.
