I'm heading back to Dollywood in May. There's a few rumors around that suggest the new right might be doing test runs starting the third week in May.

Might finally plan a trip to Dollywood next year, this ride being the catalyst. Honestly I’m am so hyped for this, and don’t really have any ideas on what to expect for this ride system fully indoors at a park like Dollywood, Espcially with everything that was promised.

This ride system really does belong in Universal lol.

In all seriousness I hope they work out the kinks as from the clips I’ve seen it has great potential if everything is working as expected.

Maybe this is why they’re not doing it in Epic? *looks at Curse and Stardust*

I'll be here next week for the first time in like what... 10 years? Looking forward to riding this and there's actually a few new things since my last visit.

This ride system looks really interesting in theory, but it's clearly not what Epic needs at all. If we had actually gotten an outdoor 'Rockin' Boat' Creature ride, we'd probably be stuck with a second Mine Cart Madness. Low capacity, operationally challenged, new and expensive, and down at the first drop of rain. I think it was the right call to look to other ride systems.

For Dollywood, I can certainly hope they can get everything together here. I've been looking forward to this one for awhile. My family was going to take the trip down this summer to see it, but ended up skipping this year as it didn't seem to be opening anytime soon. I'm sure both Dollywood and USH penny counters have had their nails embedded in their armrests watching the entire summer fly by without their big rides open to bring in that critical revenue.

I don't think it was ever speculated that a Mack Rocking Boat for Creature would be outdoors. The ride at Dollywood is fully enclosed within a building.

Edit: Looks like it's back open.

I did watch a POV (Albeit not a Greta looking one). It will be a while before I get to ride, but from what I’ve seen, it doesn’t look terrible? I was never expecting anything of Disney or Universal quality level of theming, but from what little I could see the ride looked decent for a regional theme park.

Will it crack my list of top 10 dark rides of all time? No, but again it looks pretty ambitious and cool for Dollywood. I think it looks like a fun time.
