Well with the hotel being pushed off and Earl just sitting there recently closed, it should be a quick reopen if they want to.

At this point they should just add a new tower to the Disneyland Hotel and redo that area of Downtown Disney, then build a new hotel somewhere else on property or where the Eastern Gateway was proposed.

Disney still wants and frankly needs the Eastern Gateway to happen. The new garage currently being built is going to be full the day it opens. All it is doing is shifting cars from the Toy Story surface lot to a covered parking garage. And even then, the Toy Story lot is still going to fill up during SWGE's first summer.

Not to mention there's a lot of land Disney doesn't own over by where the Eastern Gateway is slated to go.

Love the Look by why in the love of god did they build these without new security equipment?

Its insane to me, that at Six Flags you can just walk in with things in your pockets but Disneyland is still searching through everyone's bag

Lastly, isn't the lifespan of this going to be pretty short since it's right where the Disneyland Forward project will bleed into or am I mistaken?

I mean depends on here they go but I think the plan is to use the road behind Goofy and move towards the current parking lot. near the Pixar Peir Hotel.

but I assume its years before they get near this area but yeah this might not be used for that long because once they take away that parking, you would assume to get in DTD from near the Disneyland hotel will have to change but it is still years away

I want it to be something but pretty sure Disney used that building for training CM's now mostly. So I don't have high hopes and normally we'd have rumors by now from someone if they are doing something big like a new store or restaurant.

I wish they'd put a Disney Museum in there with exhibits of all the stuff in the studio/Imagineering archives, as a ticketed attraction. They could change the exhibit themes every year...there are nearly endless topics that Disney fans would be interested in, and it would be a great thing to visit on arrival/departure day, stuff like:

• The Building of Disneyland
• Classic Animation
• The Disney Renaissance
• Disney Overseas Parks
• Disney During WWII
• Walt's Latin America Tour
• Walt's Vision of EPCOT
• Pixar behind the Scenes
• The Making of Star Wars (in 2027 for the 50th anniversary)
• etc.
