‘Cloth’ is a little vague, I’m assuming these are more to ‘pretty up’ and go over a surgical mask etc...

Nope, they're a reusable replacement for them

Yeah I just got onto the page after the queue screen.

Interesting, I’d get them. I hope they are sold individually in the parks.

Honestly, if they're expecting everyone to wear a mask they should hand them out like they do the magic bands. I'd assume that the June 15th estimate for their delivery is because that's around when they're currently expecting the parks to open and they're aiming for productions to be stable around then.

At least it's not just about profits on this one. And the price is way better than you'd expect from Disney.

To further help those in need, Disney is donating one million cloth face masks for children and families in underserved and vulnerable communities across the U.S., including California and Florida, that will be distributed by MedShare. Disney will also donate all profits from the sales in the U.S. of Disney’s cloth face masks to Medshare, up to $1 million, now through September 30, 2020.

I've managed to get my hands on some masks for my shop to sell. These are the masks:

Lightweight Fabric Face Cover Heather CVC | BELLA+CANVAS ®

Stay protected in style with our Lightweight Fabric Face Cover Heather CVC edition. Explore the perfect combination of comfort, fashion, and functionality.
www.bellacanvas.com

At wholesale, I'm paying under £1, Disney will be paying pennies for these. The masks that the NHS are buying are apparently costing 50p for 300.

Can you custom print on them? Do you do that sort of thing even?

I’m expecting the graphs for Georgia and other loose states to look like this in the next 40 days.

It's like the old saying goes, when the graphs look like a camel's back the Covid comes back

I'm more worried about inhaling a vape cloud than getting the flu or Covid, if we're being honest with each other

Edit: As parks begin to announce their plans to reopen. It might be an idea to create a separate thread as this one is going to get crowded real quick.

To add to this, Fauci stated he doesn't think sports should return until 2021, even without fans. It's still too risky with people sweating up on each other and such.

Quick shoutout to the Wyndham Destinations guy on the Orange County Bringing Back Tourism work group who just said that if they opened their Bonnet Creek property tomorrow they could "most likely could fill it by the weekend":

There's waaaaaaaaaaay too much money on the line for sports not to return until next year. Shoot, if college football doesn't happen in the fall then alot of these major universities are going to have to make some serious budget cuts because football keeps some of these schools running.

He may not be too far off base. Locally the beach restrictions and short term rental restrictions have lifted. We've had 4 May bookings and many inquiries for our beach rental property in the past 48 hours, We typically see one to two bookings a week during this time of year. Web traffic has increased 10 fold in the past 3 days. There is a lot of pent up money and energy at the moment. Cabin fever is taking hold of some people.

I think college football has a higher chance of not happening than the NFL does.

That's different than a market that relies on plane travel, where airlines have cut capacity by 90% for the next month

I think professional sports are closer to finding a truncated version of their usual model, but the NCAA is going to have a much harder time. All this talk about moving all the teams and players to a single location, keeping them isolated in hotels when they aren’t playing, further reduction in player salaries to defer costs because there is zero revenue for them to use... You can’t do any of that with college students

College football straight up needs a miracle to play in the fall, in any fashion. Barring that, I think the best bet is a truncated version in the spring. No fans, limited rosters, conference play only, and then no bowls or playoff, just a final coaches or media poll at the end of the season.
