Since my cataract surgery, I can actually ride coasters better now...BUT....after so many years of riding soooo many minimally themed outdoor coasters throughout the northeast and midwest regional parks, I've found them to feel very repetitious and mehhhh. I enjoy a heavily themed outdoor coaster like Hagrids though, and most all well themed 'indoor' coasters. Age and repetition really lessened the 'fun'. Unthemed/minimally themed outdoor coasters just seem to be such 'lazy' designing to me now.

The older I get, the more I enjoy a thrilling indoor hybrid dark ride. Monsters is the top of the pyramid. But it's important a park have a couple family type dark rides too that are medium thrill....plus live entertainment. I don't think there's much of an audience though for Its a Small World type rides. The ship has sailed on those. POC and Haunted Mansion level is the preferred for an all ages ride.

I agree with this. For forty years or more, I have been on the biggest fastest coasters I could get to without traveling too far (okay, it was Kings Island and Cedar Point primarily). Riding Orion is okay but no intense adrenaline push. The only major coaster to really jack my adrenaline was Top Thrill Dragster and it was mainly the launch. However, I love Velocicoaster and Hagrid's is my current favorite. I will take a ride like Forbidden Journey and enjoy it almost as much. I can ride Pirates of the Caribbean repeatedly as well as Haunted Mansion. Seven Dwarves Mine Train is also appreciated. I also enjoyed riding Horizons and World of Motion. I would love to see what Uni could do with a boat ride that doesn't soak you (looking at you Jurassic River Adventure which I love until you soak me). It would be a nice change of pace ride.

Yes!!! As I said, since the cataract surgery I don't ever get motion sickness, so no issues with any coasters, spinner rides, or screens like Simpsons. But, I get no adrenaline rush from these parking lot unthemed coasters that all seem the same, except for a new tech trick or two. Give me high level theming, or give me death....Patrick Henry, or someone, said something like that. ;) :D ....and more importantly, the indoor hybrids have way more repeatability, which is important when you take long vacations at a theme park resort.
