Oh yeah, I'm gonna have to actually see an announcement (and even then, some more concrete details) before I have feelings about it.

Basically, yeah!

We already know Universal is exploring multiple things right now to address Epic Universe’s growth and capacity, but we don’t know the specifics yet. We’ve been down this road before, and I just don’t want the discussion falling down the rabbit hole of semantics or writing something off before we even know if the rumor is credible, let alone what the final product actually is.

I mean, I know it would be a retread of Storm Force Accelatron to some degree, but throw a scrambler/higher intensity flat ride into a building, add some fun DMX effects to mimic Unchained's aesthetic, and call it some sort of ancillary battery/generator manned by the Bride to help with supplementary power to help Vicky out.

Cost is low, impact is high, and it adds something a family could theoretically trick their kids into riding.

This is exactly the kind of thing I do not want. Throwing some quick, cheap, mediocre addition in just to get capacity up ASAP is not the move. Whatever is put in this expansion plot locks this land into place for the foreseeable future since Curse will be staying.

I'm open to seeing what a well-themed, immersive Bride ride could be, but it does seem like there was just so much more potential for some unique theming on a Creature boat ride that isn't present anywhere else in the land. When I think of the Bride, it just seems like more of the same aesthetic and same settings seen throughout Monsters Unchained and the retail already here.

Do we have any idea what this alleged Bride of Frankenstein ride would be? I did think it was kind of odd that she was left out of Unchained.

The easiest guess is a quick-fix indoor coaster, but like we already went over, the park doesn't need a coaster. If it does get an indoor coaster, it needs to be legit. Also already mentioned but a Danse Macabre-type ride would be perfect.

Whatever is going in the Wizarding World needs to be good...as in not another simulator. If they gotta do another indoor coaster I think that should be the spot. Weren't there permits for a certain type of indoor coaster during the days of spec for this park?

EDIT TO ADD: I do have another quick-fix idea: I know this is hypocritical for me to say this since I just got done saying no more simulators, but another really good quick-fix idea would be to have a flying theater at Isle of Burke. Burke is a great area, but they're lacking a good indoor ride aside from the show. I know it would take some time to animate and get the voice actors and all of that, but it would be a good quick way to add capacity. Plus, they can split the production costs by just repurposing the footage for the Dream Works Theater at USH. Now USH also has a new presentation for that venue. Win win!

I'm gonna stand on these ideas for Darkmoor. . . .

When it comes to expensions and Epic, I will forever die on the hill of Darkmoor needs an Intamin Dynamic Motion Stage with an original story/plot. when it comes to height/restrictions, it's a family attractions so not much limitations and it seems to have great capacity,108 people per cycle. Again, it can be themed to an original storyline. Like an old abandon building or a seance.

Not sure what HMUS is but when it comes to Alien Encounter, was it really a "show" or more of an attraction? One can take it further and question whether Shrek was a show or an attraction? Could they create an "original" attraction storyline that is loosely based on the premises of jekyll/hyde? We are in luck as today the village doctor has created a serum that does blah blah blah and he is inviting us to witness the remarkable first public showing of it. He proceeds to test it on a small animal subject and its successful then he does the unthinkable and states hes gonna now test it on himself which he has never done. He states how he isn't sure how stable it is for a specimen of his size/human but he believes in his research. He takes it then all hell breaks loose.

Then it turns into an Alien encounter style attraction/show/??.

We can get a new attraction and an original story/character that kinda exist in the monster universe, but universal version.

Who said it's outside? Also technically High in the Sky is a "coaster". It feels like very few weeks whever this comes back up people think we're getting VelociCoaster again.

I do not like or ride coasters as I do not like vertical drops…. It’s a personal choice but I also point to where in my post I said it was going to be like Velocicoaster. The answer is I didn’t.

All this talk about Darkmoor and potter. Years long projects. Just put the barriers up in celestial park already, rip up the concrete and let’s get our giant swing with a great light package up and running already.

Could have done it the same time as the fountain light and show upgrades.

Look no further than DL Paris and the up swing. That’s quick, cheap, and helps flesh out the part of the park that needs it the most. Could be done by November.

I would want too HIGHLY THEMED flat rides so that might take a little longer to build.

Something with same amount of love and care that they put into Constellation Carousel.

Good idea, adding some decorative mini flat rides like ones in Efteling and DCA would work.
covering ride with incandescent-like LED bulbs to match the aesthetic of the buildings and constellation carousel in celestial park)
Also, adding a playground next to that unused grass field area next to Atlantic would be a nice addition as well.

DCA shouldn’t be reference for anything.

I feel you, the pier can be hideous for Disney standards but I'm only referencing Jumpin' Jellyfish. That flat ride looks standout at night with all of these soft elegant lighting, very beautiful to watch.

Yeah I’m super disappointed they haven’t torn down Jumpin Jellyfish yet. Looks
So out of place at DCA.

I love the idea of adding a couple of flats to Celestial Park. It just occurred to me that a swing ride isn’t really common in Orlando (Fun Spot?) so it would work great! The observation deck that Effeling has would be great as well!

EDIT TO ADD: I know they’re already building the E-ticket, but I would love to see is a Potter-themed Vekoma madhouse. That would certainly be a quick-capacity boost.
