Could it be that long before single day tickets are released to the public? My sister is hoping to get one for one of the days I’ll be there.

If ticket sales are brisk, it absolutely could be. They are, of course, selling three-day tickets that include a single day to Epic.

Nobody should be required to buy days they don't want at the existing parks to get access to Epic.

I understand why Universal would feel this is a prudent strategy from a cold, clinical perspective (they're worried about the two parks getting cannibalized in the initial Epic excitement... which I think is something they should be worried about), but that practice should not be rewarded if a person can at all help it.

The uncertainty of what additional options may be available, and when, is frustrating, but I think folks (i.e. those of us who haven't been able to purchase anything yet) should continue to hold out for additional options and hope that those options will materialize in a reasonable timeframe.

No one is required to. There will be one day tickets to epic only. They just aren't on sale yet. A couple weeks ago, you couldn't buy tickets to epic at all.

Yes, but I've seen a lot of "Well, there are three-day tickets with one day at Epic and two days at the current parks available now" comments (not picking on you, @Jake S!) that could be read as sort of pushing people towards that option instead of waiting.

Sure, we know there will be a variety of additional options eventually. The lack of knowing when those will materialize is, I think, fueling some of the consternation.

Definitely not my intent. My point is that if you really want to go in the first couple of months the park opens, you do have an option. I'm not going until a better deal is offered, even if that means canceling my trip next October. I don't find the lack of information at this stage all that concerning because we're still nearly a year away from my potential travel dates and it frankly wouldn't be that big of a deal if I need to wait another six months (or longer!) to go to this park.

Of course, other opinions are available.

That's all valid.

My relative restlessness stems from being the coordinator for the group that will be traveling with me, which means I'm being harassed (I say that with love!) by the other members of my party on a pretty frequent basis about when we're buying our tickets, when we're booking our lodging, etc.

And sure, there's also an element of FOMO at work here for me, too. I want to be able to take part in the discussion about the park and offer my assessment before it becomes "old news" (which will happen probably sooner than we might think, going by how quickly most threads about new attractions slow to a crawl once they're open).

But, like you, I'm not going to purchase something that I don't want, either. So if that means my trip isn't happening until 2026, then it won't happen until 2026.

We're planning for next September to combine Epic into our HHN trip, and I'm fully confident that we'll have single-day/multi-day tickets for Epic in plenty of time for that. We have until the end of December to decide if we want to renew our APs, and I imagine we'll have more ticket/AP info by then!

We have until November 25! Holding out hope for the 3 extra month renewal deal, but not optimistic!

Everyone has to make their own determination about just how important it is to get their tickets now and what the price they're willing to pay is. People who are desperate to to be "first" into the park will spend the money on the first tickets they see available, which is exactly what happened. So instead of spending the ~$150-$200 for a one day ticket, people who really wanted to go no matter what spent a lot more buying multi-day tickets so now they will theoretically also visit the other parks.

Passholders (who were often swearing up and down that if Universal didn't give them access to Epic they were CANCELLING their passes) spent an additional ~$150 on tickets so they could be "first".

Universal is a BUSINESS and is out to make money after spending billions on this park. Their strategy seems to be working with thousands of people shelling out hundreds of dollars-- that's how business works.

I get that there are people who didn't want to buy the multi-day tickets or buy add-ons for their passes, but many did and apparently sold out opening day (maybe week?). We are still 6 1/2 months out from opening day-- there will be other opportunities to buy tickets, single day and other types. There will most likely be previews and soft openings which have yet to be announced and will offer other opportunities. I understand the sentiment of being frustrated with what is currently happening, but there is still plenty of time and more opportunities coming.

I have been asked by many people if I bought my tickets yet (and coworkers and friends know I have been following Epic closely and looking forward to it)-- my answer is no. I believe there will be plenty of opportunities coming between Passholder soft openings, TM previews, etc., and while I am not certain I will be able to do one of those, I made the calculation that it wasn't worth spending money beyond my annual pass at this time.

Or kidnap one and chain them in your basement, and show up to their shift with their nametag and costume.

Wait, what are we talking about again?

Forgive me if this has already been asked, but do we know if customers will be able to buy multiple one-day tickets when they go live? Let's say I want to go opening day and the day after. Will I be limited to just one day?
