I’m not an AP holder, so I don’t have skin in this game. I just think it would have been “nice” to allow the AP holders to have their “ticket day” instead of including all hotel guests. A friend of mine waited almost 4 hours to buy tickets due to the overwhelming demand.

Doesn’t matter now , I just think AP folks should have been given some additional priority. You already have tons of people that have visited the park due to their connection with an employee or the media.

To say they are having trouble filling hotel rooms right now would be an understatement.

Which I get, but why not open it to hotel guests like next week?

Do we think this will be a big push for guests at the hotel when they check in? Like "Hey thanks for checking in, buy a Epic preview ticket?" or since it is still in "preview" it wouldn't be pushed as much?

Also I saw a few pages back someone said they expect each preview day to have capacity of 6k? How did they come to this conclusion? But also I have a real bad sense of scope, what does this look like if true? Like what have the TM/media previews been at, what do we really think these preview days will look like crowd wise. Busy I know but like how so? Close to what a normal full day at Epic would look like or less? Just trying to mentally prepare haha

I think they are capping AP Preview availability at 6K. That doesn't include resort guests. I believe the park will be over 10K per day.

I, unfortunately, may need to book another SF-Orlando flight before opening day. And I’ll be in Orlando (no Epic) this Saturday. Flying coast-to-coast sucks but the heart wants what it wants, lol.

Even as someone with no Epic FOMO, the thought of getting a room on a Friday/Saturday night, doing CityWalk or Helios dinner and then Epic the next day sounds like a fun idea. But I wouldn't pull the trigger on it until I know I'm not going to get told sorry at the ticket desk.

It could be a tough year for Orlando. Hopefully, the Epic hotel rooms will fill after official opening. There really wasn't any good reasons to book there now, since before today the preview ticket situation was the great unknown.

It’s going to be a tough year for everyone if things don’t change.

Can't be much worse than having two huge hotels opening then everything shuts down five years ago...

Bought tickets at noon yesterday, showed up in my wallet this morning with a confirmation email. as well.

On a different topic, I noticed while booking my hotel that Stella Nova is either in the $300 range or sold out on Friday's thru Sunday's during previews.

What if we booked Helios for April 16 -18 and are trying to get Epic tix for the 17th? Do you know if we can get tix for the 17th on the 16th (day of check in) or do we have to wait until the following morning ? Stressed bc we are supposed to be going to volcano bay the 16th and will be checking out of Royal pacific that day as well. Not sure if one of us should go over to Helios that morning or we’ll have to wait until the next morning to try to get tix. Hoping it’s more clear as it gets closer. Someone said customer service told them Helios guests are guaranteed tickets but I haven’t seen that anywhere else.

It’s any on-site hotel, but I believe you have be a current on-site guest. Prob easier to just extend your RPR stay for one more day.

I was contemplating keeping my 4-25 ticket with short hours thinking it might be less crowded, even though I prefer having time there at night. With these hotel prices for Stella so steep that Friday I'm not so sure?

We didn't receive ours yesterday either, but we just received the confirmation email this morning and they are now in the app as well. Hopefully you will get them soon!

It was $130 for the first weekend in May yesterday evening… seems like opening the preview up to hotel guests did what they wanted.

What's the park's max capacity? Are these previews still expected to be lower crowds than when the park officially opens?
