I've just started listening to the podcast. It's made my last few weeks at work far more interesting.

Thinking about F&F, I'm not overly excited about it currently because it feels so far away. I feel the same way about Avatar but I know when we're a few months out like we are now currently with Kong, I'll be hyped.

Thinking about F&F, I'm not overly excited about it currently because it feels so far away. I feel the same way about Avatar but I know when we're a few months out like we are now currently with Kong, I'll be hyped.

My feelings too. Plus we're still at the guessing stages on both projects. We know ride systems but that's about it. Not many specifics. The major question on F&F is how much of the Hollywood version stays the same and how much changes and/or gets added on.

That was the point - take it off the tram and set it as a standalone ride and i'd not bother.

So I think in Florida it'd have to be fundamentally different.

Ok, I am going to post why the delay. I have known it since December but didn't want to admit it.

One reason for the delay of this project is because of Kong RV issues. I find out they have been corrected and then a few weeks later I find that they have not been solved... to this day. I believe UC is reticent to commit to the ride system and therefore building plans have been put off.

Perhaps plans have been refigured for more than one potential ride system and it is moving forward. That is just a guess... but this delay is, in part, because of Kong.

UC is going to hate my guts for this post.

What exactly was delayed...? And you don't start a building unless you know what ride is going into it.

They've been working steadily since they started tear down and while the front looks untouched they've been plugging away daily at the actual site itself digging what are presumably foundations.. Which will support a predetermined ride system and not some either/or/maybe scenario.
