What if Supercharged is replaced by a jaws ride…? San Francisco lends itself perfectly to a Jaws overlay

1) you’re riding on an Amity Island tour bus

2) Or.. they rip out the ride system and replace it with an indoor water ride

I was thinking the same but I just don’t think they’re interested in indoor water rides due to upkeep.

Retrofitting a high tech indoor boat ride into an existing structure does sound like a logistical nightmare. I REALLY wish something like that were happening here though, especially if Zelda is getting the boat ride over in Epic instead of Creature. Any increased Jaws presence in the parks is very welcome though!

The only way you’re getting Jaws in San Fran is if they convert the party bus to a party boat.

As terrible is this would be, the ride system used could probably really sell the illusion of being in open water lol

It's funny that San Francisco has become the default Jaws zone because Amity used to be next door. That boy was an east coast fish!

But I'd love it if they could find a way to bring the property back. I still maintain Jaws is the single "classic" property that most deserves another shot. It's way more timeless and broadly universal than BTTF or Ghostbusters.

Hmmm....Jaws party pontoons or Twisters on the subway. Not sure which is more ridiculously silly :nervous:

They could lean into it being super corny and make it Jaws 3D the Ride or something.

If it didn't have inversions and was highly-themed, that would still achieve one of my primary objectives!

Outdoor unthemed coasters are lazy creative and generally cater to a limited demographic. Indoor, highly themed coasters are another story. They're often a real fun attraction that has wider demographic appeal than the parking lot coasters.

Whatever they do with Jaws, they need to bring back the Cap'n Jake's theming. Maybe Cap'n Jake's Party Pontoons (Thanks Austin T) or Cap'n Jake's Amity Tour Bus, or something else along those lines. They could be like: Cap'n Jake's is EXPANDING, or Cap'n Jake's now offers tours for those landlubbers who get sea sick, yada yada yada...

Not to pat myself on the back, but that was pretty good ride pitch.

Alene's cousin had Molly's Trolleys in Pittsburgh, took it to Florida a decade ago, and then sold it to someone down in Florida when she retired a few years ago. It looked just like that and was land and water. So there must be something like that somewhere in Florida also.

Yeah… this idea doesn’t seem so insane now does it?…

Legacy said:
"Amity Tours invites you to ride their new 'Submersi-Bus,' a unique underwater vehicle that can also drive on land! Explore our beautiful town and beaches, both above and below the water's surface! You may even see a shark!

Disclaimer - Amity Tours acknowledges a history of shark attacks along its beaches. Amity Tours is not liable for any psychological or physical injuries, to include death, that occur as the result of a shark attack."

Same basic ride. Musion effect now has Brody trying to stop the Tour from happening. If they want to get REAL fancy, they can update the bus with an adaptation of the wet/dry technology from the DisneySea 20K Leagues ride. A smaller musion scene after the tunnel with the Tour apologizing.

Modern Jaws ride using the F&F system.

EDIT - The F&F system - the 360 tunnel and the musion scene - are (I think) one of the most versatile systems the parks have. It can provide the visceral thrills of a simulator with enough movement and size and structure to be a different experience from a SCOOP or flying theater.
