No credible source has said anything major has changed as of yet with respect to the ride system/vehicle. I think that talk was mostly speculation and wishful thinking.

A credible source (@Teebin) has indicated on another thread that he just heard some big changes to projects he's recently been posting about. Go check out the universal resort expansion thread.

Sounds like there may indeed be some changes, but not to the overall approach Universal is taking with the attraction. Which is to say, "Still no real speed."

A little background. The original designs for this attraction had it as two smaller vehicles running one behind the other at once. The capacity is/was probably the same combined.

Woah! That post was not my inside information. It came as a rumor from other peoples sources so you must take it with that in mind. I cannot guarantee the veracity at all. AT ALL!

It was only a mild "prepare for potential changes". But we have known that because of delays.

i'm just curious to how the vehicles will look. Being that the Fnf themei is so different from Kong, it'll be cool to see how they incorporate those trucks to the ride.

Ohhh Ohhh Ohhhh. I think Lombards is closing for a month mid August. I was looking at reservations for the parks. Lombards lists no options between August 12 and September 9th. I mean not even a spot for the date, not booked, just missing. Something up there? Oddly Mythos has the same thing happening which worries me as I have a reservation for the 16th of August

Does anyone remember Speed? The bus had to go 55 or it would trigger a bomb on the bus? Could they be poaching a thin plotline? I imagine there is some way to "simulate" speed in this scenario?

Yeah, I brought that up about a month ago. With these vehicles it would be something like that Sandra Bullock film.
