I was honestly trying to find this thread, and I could not until I searched for it. All I can say is... things have definitely changed with my favorites/least favorites. And I can tell this thread needs some updating, seeing that since the last post was made (12 years ago!), Skull Island, Hagrid's, and VelociCoaster were built.
Favorites: VelociCoaster and Hagrid's. Let me just put this in perspective; when I first posted here back in 2010, I was a 15-year-old who hadn't gone to any out-of-state parks yet. I have since ridden about 225 coasters as of 2024, and I think both of these are in the top for me (if I had to pick one... VelociCoaster). All I can say is WOW! Both of these coasters are just so incredible that honestly these might be my standards for coasters now! VelociCoaster might just be my top coaster (if not #1, at least sharing the space with rides like Iron Gwazi, Steel Vengeance, and Millennium Force).
Least Favorites: Poseidon's Fury closed down, so... I guess it's still Pteranodon Flyers, since I can't ride lol. Now that I have a nephew, I might finally have a chance to ride in a couple years whenever he is tall enough. I still don't love this requirement. But if you're asking me about rides I have actually done still operating: High in the Sky. The best part are the views of the park, and... that's about it.
Just like with the other thread, I'll add this category for me:
Attractions That I Have Grown to Like More:
Most of the rides, I still love the same way. I guess Spider-Man, mainly because comparing the themes of this 3D Thrill Ride and the other at USF (Transformers) makes me appreciate this one a lot more.
Attractions That I Have Grown to Like Less:
Storm Force Accelatron. I understand the ride isn't built for my demographic, but I have been getting into X-Men quite a bit lately... and SFA really does feel like a waste knowing what it could be like. I also think Ripsaw Falls is kinda trending to my bad side just a hair: often the wait times are way too high for the ride to be worth it in my opinion, the animatronics have seen better days (at least since my last ride on it), and I just think the theme is outdated as well (same could be said for the whole Toon Lagoon area tbh). I still enjoy it, but I also have some criticism now.
