We're planning to visit USH in July during a weekend and planning to buy FOL tickets. Latest by when should I buy the tickets?

I would buy them as soon as possible to make sure they don't sell out for some reason

A limited number are offered each day. Purchase as soon as possible. Also, you might want to consider the VIP Experience (http://www.universalstudioshollywood.com/tickets/vip-experience/), if you have the extra money it's completely worth it!
