I think SpongeBob would be better suited as a Springfield retheme once the Simpsons rights expire (Eventually).

I do think this would be prime for a One Piece land. You already have two solid water rides, so retheme to one of the most popular anime’s out there.

I love the rides, but……

2 popular ride concepts that involve water in Florida? Of course they’re popular. I don’t think that at all speaks to the TL theme. It’s just what those rides are.

I know this was a SLOP store for awhile, and if I remember right it had a lot of Dreamworks stuff this year.

Probably just being rethemed/refurbed.

It's not a popular shop either, so maybe they want to introduce something here to draw more guests?

Edit: Blondie's (adjacent restaurant) is also listed as closed with no operating hours. I wonder if they are planning on doing something else with this space or if it's a refurb with the building? The AP lounge would have to close so we'll see what happens.

I'd love for this to be converted as a larger UOAP lounge with unique bites/drinks served out of Blondie's

Build a real Krusty Krab sit down as a proof of concept, then re-theme the entirety of Toon Lagoon to Spongebob in the next few years. I hope the Frisco park shows them how much Spongebob food will sell if done right.
