Allow me to chime in and predict the future

Disney will eventually announce a round of attractions and the overhaul of Disney Hollywood Adventure. The world will appreciate the effort, awe in its expansion plans, and unanimously agree the expansions are much needed and look fantastic. Many will bitch about the timeline on several aspects but it will at least give Disney and theme park fans the like something to look forward to from the Mouse House. The Pixie Dusters will be drunk on power and calling the Universal faithful out, "We have our Potter Swatter now" they'll say. They will dance in the streets, celebrate 26 month long resort wide events, and marvel in their stories of greatness and self being. WDI will once again feel as if they're the kings of O-Town.

Iger said it in the quarterly conference call earlier this week. If he's prepping investors already, then it's definitely gonna be a looooonng process.

"We have a fair amount of design and development work going on right now to greatly increase -- this is no surprise -- Star Wars presence in multiple locations around the world. We'll have more details probably about that later on in 2015. The plans are ambitious, and so it's going to take some time for them to actually be built and open. I'm thinking more so in the classic sense where nostalgia kicks in which is where Disney reigns than as in recent pop culture phenomenon like LOTR. I don't have any insider knowledge but that and the untapped video game IP market as are the only two where i can see Pixie Dusters getting mega upset about.

It appears Christopher Tolkien is still alive so I don't think it's that....not sure what else it would be if they did acquire something else.

Well to Teebins point of an ip bigger than hp, I would say marvel is at that point now. And if htf is saying something shocking then maybe marvel and uni have some big plans for marvel expansion. Maybe even using mcu stuff?
