Title!

The garden walk takes you from Portofino to Cabana and vice versa, and especially at nighttime, it's a very pleasant stroll. Been making it a weekly activity, and it's a great relaxation while also getting good steps in! Highly recommend.

Yes, we do the garden walks often during our vacations. The best one is the Portofino to USF. The beauty and ambiance are breathtaking. Cabana Bay to CityWalk is pretty good also, except for one small stretch. RP is very good, and the blessing of shortness also. Generally we'll stop at the Hard Rock Butterfly Garden when walking from Portofino....And the view from the beginning of the lagoon to the Portofino buildings on the return walk is as stunning as anything you could experience in a non mountain setting.

The hidden gems of the resort by far. I wish Disney had as good of walkways to their parks.

It is a gem! The garden walk with a coffee in hand is perfect warm up to a day in the parks

Agreed, great walk. When staying at Cabana, I prefer the garden walk then taking the bus. It's just a really nice walk. It's been a long time since I stayed at Portofino, but that one is an amazing one (and you can stop off at Hard Rock on the way).

Yes, we often do the garden walks, especially when the temperature is comfortable. It helps to refresh the thought processes and slow the vacation down a bit. Universal does a great job on these walkways. They're much better than the ones at WDW.

Might sound silly but I'm always impressed by the bridge that has all the greenery on each side so that you almost forget that you are crossing a major road.

They really did a great job there. Just such a shame so many cross (dangerously) at street level instead of walking over to the path while at cabana (at least back in the days when I stayed on site). I remember when they had rick shaws to run you about on the paths, such good times!

They need to build a new path there, too. You gotta meet the people half way with what they want.

Yeah. CBBR is a huge resort. The garden pathway bridge is fine if you have a room at that end....but...if you want to go over to Sapphire for the bars/restaurants/boat, and you're at the other end........it's A Bridge Too Far.....sooo we cross at the street light when we're in that section.

Yeah that bridge is a walk to get to it and I don’t remember there being much affirmation that you’re heading in the right direction. You just gotta hope it’s there the first time you go. It took me a trip or two before I realized where it was.

So the walk into CityWalk from CBBR is a mile. Not bad. Sapphire Falls is 1/3 mile. I'll be checking this out.

It's a tad longer than Portofino. 15 minutes at a normal paced walk.

I love the Garden Walk, but that bit right past Royal Pacific (between RP on IOA) gets frustrating.

The voices in my head as we walk that one part:
'Why are we going in a spiral?"
"Just have the path go that way!"
"What's this weird jacuzzi part on the end for?"

There's a troll under that bridge, and if you get lost on that stretch, dinner is served, but not in a good way. Ulysses went that way too.
