Right, but we have excellent representation of the size of the hut in the movie Azkaban. The footprint set forth in the ride is four times the size of that. I am not clear whether you are saying it is Hagrid’s Hut or you are somewhat unsure at this time.

I don’t think it’s Hagrid’s hut. His house has two sections and this’ll be just 1 round section. I’ve been calling it a hut based on shape and style as I understand it to be.

Jim Hill referred to it as Hagrid’s summer house on the Disney Dish for example. So, not a location from the movies, but probably done in the same style as his home, or the stables, as far as theming.

Maybe screenz on those walls? Could be an "effective" effect!

I think people are forgetting that there is a whole figure eight launch section after the "Hagrids Hut" section. Its not shown via footers yet, but that will be a big portion of the thrill part of the ride aswell

I believe this was discussed previously, but I'd love an answer. Why exactly does Universal wait so dang long to officially announce everything about this ride? The track seems to be almost entirely built, or at least the supports are in place, and we already know it's a Harry Potter coaster. I'm up in Cincinnati near Kings Island, and even they announce their big additions around this time up through August. So what is the strategy in not revealing what the ride is, when its track is almost entirely erected, less than a year till its supposed opening?

Universal got burned when they announced the first Wizarding World too soon and people held off on booking their vacations. I fear they have over-corrected in recent years though, waiting too long to make their announcements.

I wish they would hurry up and bolt all the track on... this bits and pieces stuff is frustrating. Perhaps they could speed it up by leaving off a few nuts per section. Then they could run to Walmart’s garden department, come back plant a few petunias, oleander bushes, a few gnomes and be done with it.
