I figure the spike reasoning will be that Hagrid hit the dragon-fire booster button that causes us to shoot up. I don't recall how prominent it was in the movie, but it was a bit dangerous in the book.

From everything we have seen so far, Uni has topped an already great queue.

The dilapidated ruins are great, but the moss really sets it off.
How many years are we expecting that green paint to hold up prior to repainting/exterior refurb?

Years back, I recall Universal using a newer more colorfast paint. At least they got the yellow green of moss correct. Disney always ends up with something blue green which looks terribly hinky.

Not only will this be a great, memorable ride....but it may well be the 'most beautiful' attraction in Orlando once all the theming & landscaping are finished. It will truly be a sight to behold, no doubt. :hail:

Debatable. Scale yes, detail is tough. This has a lot more going on with the fine details imo.

The one thing that annoys me about Everest (besides disco yeti) is there is a light leak inside which exposes all the steel support for the building and tracks. I mean, this isn't Matterhorn 1956. Can't they block the light at least?

So, I suppose they will have Hagrid’s umbrella for sale too?

If it looked like the movies then fewer would buy it/them. These are fuzzy soft and cute.
