Halloween Horror Nights 2018 (USH) General Discussion

So I'm guessing alcohol sales are gonna play an important factor this year?

Though wait times are going to be hell if we don't have a tram or show, the bright side is that it could lead to a big boost in budget since they don't have to deal with trams or paying the Jabbawockeez

Welp, there it is.

No Terror Tram. FINALLY. ITS ABOUT DANG TIME. Thrilled to hear they’re finally giving it a rest to put the money into scarezones and houses. I’m even happier for another reason: TT’s retirement means I went on the last Terror Tram ever on closing night. Nice to have the bragging rights to it.

As for there being likely no show....meh. That’s too bad. If they’re open every night, that will make up for it.

This sounds like a really, really, REALLY solid line up this year. I’m stoked to see they’re finally changing things up and improving the event.

Been going to HHN since 2007; have never watched Bill and Ted, Slaughterworld, Chucky's Insult Emporium, or Jabbawockeez.

I'm ambivalent at best about no Terror Tram. I kinda felt like once you've walked the hill the novelty is done. TOT seemed out of place or forced down in the psycho sets. There was no suspension of disbelief that was there for Hollywood Harry.

I would caution though that it is just as likely that Hollywood's budget get's cut since it doesn't have TT to worry about as it is there being a bunch more money to spend.

and maybe what’s gonna be in the houses; although some of them seem self explanatory(Thing, IT). I’m excited to see the Cult Gauntlet and how they handle it, but I’m hoping we get the FBI shootout scene from the finale and a few nods to the season like “Vote for Kai” and “Vote for Ally” posters

I’m just surprised Murdy convinced Ryan Murphy to let him do an Asylum Maze considering that article from earlier in the forum made it sound like Murphy really wanted a Cult Maze.

Well I think Resident Evil was supposed to come in 2013 but I’m not sure what else was. Spoiler please?
