Expected that, but it's still disappointing.

Potter doesn't belong anywhere near HHN...

You really need an explanation?

Harry Potter may have some frightening aspects, but it doesn't belong in Halloween Horror Nights. It's about blood, guts, gore, chills, scary. The only time I see Potter being involved in Halloween is in IoA, with a more milder event, that isn't intended to scare the crap out of you.

Also, I'm 100% Rowling will not allow any of her story to be used for a Haunt Event.

Well, yes, I did ask for the reasoning behind your statement. Thanks for your opinions. But I do think there are enough elements in HP that can make a great, and very frightening Halloween event. I agree that it should be in IoA. Of course it all depends on Rowling, and only she knows what she wants to do.

Like what? I'm sorry, but I'm a huge HP fan and can't think of much that can be used in a bloody, gory, scary as hell HP house.

Ghost Town Revisited, anyone? I just took my first glimpse at the teaser page, and now I find myself blasting Midnight Syndicate for the remainder of my night. If you find yourselves in a similar situation, I reserve the right to give you a high-five. If you don't know who Midnight Syndicate is, I reserve the right to report you to the moderators.

I didn't say it wouldn't be a Halloween event, I said it doesn't belong at HHN.

Furthermore, it wouldn't be a "frightening" event, it would be more or less along the lines of Not So Scary, with some minor frightening elements.

The way I see it, the only way Potter would work in HHN is if it were a twisted version, a la Scary Tales. But Rowling would never let that go forward.

Death Eaters torturing/killing, making Inferi, Inferi themselves, dementors w/ cold air effect, Azkaban walkthrough w/ prisoners reaching for you, Sectumsempra, fire, acromantulas, basilisk, werewolves, hags, vampires, lethifolds, dragons, water demons (grindylows, Kappas), Nagini, misc. Dark magic, etc. Just some ideas that I think could be worked into a scary house/scarezone.

Waiting for the blood and guts part rather than just the psychological stuff.

None of this really matters, anyways, as Rowling would never allow any of it to happen.

Well that's all great and stuff, but take this elsewhere before this thread spirals outta control into Potter/HHN talk. Create a new thread, and lets get back to topic.

I see them, but I don't think they mean anything. They could just be scars, or even the way the light/shadow is hitting the hand.

I guess this is just something to take note of and find out the meaning later.

Its possible it does mean something because frankly we've learned that everything has a meaning one way or another, so only time will tell at this point.
