Halloween Horror Nights 21: Your Luck Has Run Out

Saws n Steam definitely is worthy of its own house, it was practically one last year, but I hope it breaks the funk of the bad Jaws Queue houses from the past few years. I think the graveyard house is just a graveyard house no ties to the icon and the Icon/Casino house will be in Sprung #2.

I thought Friday the 13th was very well done and Saw if you went through it perfectly timed was another VERY well done house. Those pigs at the end rocked!

I, too, was under the impression that everything from last year was fair game. Didn't we keep hearing that we hadn't seen the last of Catacombs? Also, just thought I'd let you know that I was one of the first 21 last night, card should be coming in the mail in a few days. :happy:

I believe Fear was "one and done" and XX was a closure on the past...
Could be wrong, still wasn't a fan of that zone.

It's defined as new era. Last year was supposed to be the stepping stone. I remember watching an interview with Aiello and he said "We wanted to do the new era so we could create new concepts and new franchises." Saws N Steam might be a new franchise. We don't know yet. Or it could be done after this. The point is that we'll always see sequel houses but they're trying to create fresh HHN franchises.

As well I saw Brian Brushwood mentioned. He is doing a haunt this year but it's not Horror Nights. On his website you can tell that the dates match up with some sort of haunt but a fan emailed him and he said something along the lines of "I won't be at Universal this year but I would love for them to bring me back and I love doing shows there."

Jaws Que curse is just an urban legend. There is no curse. It's the location that taxes the actors. It's the hottest house and sometimes that reflects on performance. But anyone who says that Friday the 13th or Saw weren't atleast decent houses are in denial.

Hmm it would be interesting to see some sort of processional/parade leading up to an Arrival show, similar to the Terra Queen coming in from Port of Entry to the stage for a sacrifice.

As far as the facade, that is definitely a cemetary entrance, but whats up with the sketch of a women in a old dress walking through that arch? Is that Elizabeth Hawthorne?

I was reading on Nightmares that it might be the Poe house seeing as those are much more modern chains and that Universal is ALL about themeing so they wouldn't have painted silver chains in a house that was supposed to be in the 1400's. People are saying it's probably from the Crypt type house we're rumored to be getting.
