It seems like there's a bunch of cross-over between Hollywood and Orlando this year

I was looking on the HHN FB page an noticed now HHN FB is responding to peoples comments a little. Haven't really seen them do that in a while, just thought i'd share.

on HorrorNight Nightmares, a source has been sending us clues. The latest one has been solved, and it pretty much says that we won't be getting an Icon in the television ads this year. The source has not been confirmed as reliable, so take this information with a grain of salt.

We've kind of known that for a while, though. The question is whether there will an icon like the Usher that wasn't a part of commercials.

Finally, I'm ready for them to release it already. This has been the worst year for updates. LOL

From Lizz on HNN:

I'll reiterate... There will still be interactivity in an official capacity. Or, in otherwords, there will be games. So have no fear... there will be an official payoff. Patience, my friends. Update is the 30th, and I suspect all of your worries will dissolve shortly thereafter.

Exactly what I thought they would do. Instead of the usual and hype up a reveal, they want to hype up opening day.

I think they want a new type of hype, one that doesn't fizzle out in August but brings in new blood and goes strong till Nov 1st.

Yea. I'm thinking whatever game starts at the full reveal will go through the event until the end. I think we may see some smart phone integration in the event.

I guess that fine and all but I will be done with the event by the time October rolls around.
If they want to finish it up in November it will probably mean nothing to most people when they will also be done for the year.

Absolutely no backing behind this thought, but, I remember reading on here that recently USF was doing a lot of wiring/electrical and stuff around the park. Some thought it may have to do with WiFi, but no one knew for sure. Any chance they are trying to add at least some hot spots around the park for some type of social media interaction during HHNs? You know like checking in, etc.

The wiring is for general IT upgrades, not wifi. But good thought.

They had the text games from 2008-2010. They ended up causing a lot of issues with service and connectivity. So mush usage in such a confined area really put a strain on the system. If they rolled out WiFi and oriented that into the project then yes, maybe SmartPhone oriented games would be back, until that moment comes don't expect it. The app they rolled out last year was great, but the biggest untapped potential of the app was the lack of wait times. At that, that is a huge downfall for the Universal App as well.

EDIT: After downloading the HHN 22 app there is a tab for wait times...

Also, who is staying up till midnight on the 29th!?
