If they stay open to 3 that means you can stand in line even longer. But I feel bad for the scarectors having to stay up all those hours. Burnout is a huge issue in the haunt world and asking for additional hours and continuing to add days days will lead to huge holes as the season comes to an end.

Question about this Dr. Jimmy guy, the cryptic clues he is giving weekly, do the clues relate to one house per week? Do they tie in together for the over all them of HHN? Or do each clue tie into each other for the houses?

I like Dr. Jimmy, he's a friend of mine, but I genuinely don't start listening to what he says until we have actual event information. He's really good at piecing things together but I have serious trouble swallowing that he got all 8 houses leaked to him. Then there is his first cryptic clue coming out right around April 1st...and yeah.

City of Orlando wants to extend alcohol serving till 3am, that could potentially affect HHN if implemented.

Word is this would be limited to a specific area of downtown (which makes it an incredibly dumb idea--just encourages drunks around metro Orlando to speed downtown at 1:30 a.m.). Doubt it passes, but even if it did, minimal effect on HHN or the theme parks in general.

All houses are scheduled to be under actual construction by mid June. This could be prep work or work regarding 971...

So what are the locations we're looking at if its 8 houses this year? Besides the 7 spots from this past year, what would be the 8th? SS33 would be difficult with HE construction going on...Nazrmans would be the only possibility if there is still space in there too....anywhere else I'm missing?

One of the haunted houses could be a dual-run house, or one of the other soundstages will double up. That's my theory.

So if they do a two park layout would the hosues be spread over both parks or the houses in USF and Ioa would be just scarezones?

The HHN website has already confirmed that this year's event is only being held in one park (Universal Studios).

The dreaded mile hikes to the house entrances. Felt like they were never ending at 18. Even last year to a degree.

Don't get me wrong, the SS houses are my favorite for obvious reasons. I'm a real sucker for detail and sets, which the SS mostly always contain. The hike is reasonable, I suppose. I just haaaate all of the traffic in the front of the park. Now with 4 houses there, I can't imagine the congestion it will cause.

In all honesty I don't think it will feel any more hectic or crowded as the haunts in soundstages are usually full of people in queues in backstage areas of the park Near Rockit and beyond. That is where most of the people are at any given time. You still can have a pretty good spread throughout the rest of the park with Haunts throughout and Bill and Ted in the back(as well as potential for small shows at Beetlejuice and Scare zones throughout.

In all honesty, would having four haunts available with that much more people taking into the queue and haunt itself be anymore crowded than last year of having large parts of the construction interfere with walking space(which will now open up and have another ride to take guests in) and only seven haunts?
