Woah, I'm away from the computer for a bit and I come back to plenty of information all over. Let's see now, in terms of the IP line up.
TWD - Had a feeling it would return, and while I know a lot of people are dissatisfied at that...for me it's a "Just wait and see what the house ends up like" situtation. Also to be brutally honest, for all the complaining on this franchise appearing every year...I really don't think the houses have been that bad. Hell, the TWD houses are golden compared to "gems" like Disorientorium, Cold Blind Terror, Reflections of Fear etc.
Insidious - Considering how good this house was in Hollywood, I'm all for it. Plain and simple.
Freddy vs. Jason - I'm down with this as well, hopefully they'll have the "vs." aspect down a lot more then AVP, which really did have much "vs" on either coast's version.
Scream - Naturally a big question/concern is weather this'll be based off the movies or the new TV series...though even if it's based off the TV series I'll still have faith in it. After all in the past they have taken IP's that I'm not too fond off and still made great houses out of them. (eg. Dead Silence).
AWIL - This is probably the biggest surprise considering it's only been two years since they've done it, though for me after how Hollywood surprisingly botched theirs up, I'm quite fine with Orlando showing how it's done again.
Overall I'm fine with the IP lineup, I know people are complaining this doesn't look like much of a lineup for a "anniversary" year...but thing is we've yet to see what the originals are, same with the scare zones which are all going to be original as well. Could be a chance they'll pull a Sweet 16 here and there with a new incarnation of a previous house.
Speaking of which, I would be all for a new version of RUN...however there's a huge concern I have. Unless they have it be the upcharge house, I don't see them returning to the ever changing maze that made the original famous. Considering a big thing of the event's operation is to push as many people through a house per hour, RUN's original concept goes right against that. Believe me, I WANT them to do something akin to the original version. Run: Hostile Territory was a massive dissapointment in that reguard, it was a alright "Hostel" house...but without the maze aspect it just wasn't RUN.
