2019 had discounts for RoF and FFP only. No FFP+ or UFFP.

RoF w/Express was only $20 off - 5%. FFP w/Express was only $15 off if I recall, so more like 3.5%.

For future reference, I would 100% have advocated for you to hotel hunt as early as you knew when you wanted to come. Hotels can be canceled in seconds and cost only a one night deposit. You may find a bit less selection than you'd like depending on your dates.

I know. I try not to cut it so close. It's usually easier when these passes go on sale in June! I just wanted to make sure the ROF was gonna happen and what dates I could go based on that and work. The wife and I are Marriott members so usually we don't have too much trouble finding decent-priced rooms, plus we have points/certificates to spend.

Somewhat sad but understandable given the relative value of the passes and how many nights they provide.

Roger that. Makes sense. Glad you were able to snag a room you wanted! Just seems like overall selection and discounts on hotels is a bit thin at this point.

We originally had Sapphire Falls booked but I ended up switching to Aventura a couple months ago. 9 night stay and we spend so little time in the room, saving $400+ seemed worth the extra walk to and from the water taxi.

Yup. They've done a good bit of stuff that's either scifi, like AvP and Stranger Things, or technically horror-adjacent, like Eilish. Plus "horror AND pop culture" is technically true, and broadens your target.

At least single night tickets with AP discounts will finally be available today. Apparently they are available already if you call in, so I'm currently on hold right now to get my single night ticket.

Spoke to someone on the phone they too confirmed there will be AP discount tickets available later this afternoon on the website. The person on the phone had the understanding it would be for the multi-night tickets and not the single night tickets. So let's see what is actually available once it drops.

Nah but in all honesty, I had a feeling this wasn't going to be a big drop day minus Icons + Tickets. Wonder how they're gonna space out the last couple houses and zones that need announcing.

I believe its the opposite way. The Universal twitter said that there will only be discounts for single night tickets. I dont think that they would just switch what they were saying over the span of a few hours

I agree, I doubt they don't give discount single night tickets. On top of that, I'm actually contemplating upgrading to the Premier AP tickets at the end of August when my passes expire which comes with a free night ticket, which I may use in late Oct when I go up for Spooky Empire.
