My assumption was always that Universal Monsters's inclusion in Vegas was the death knell for them, at least in Orlando. I'm curious how they'll approach that IP slot in the future though, since it's been a while!

As for sequels, I think Slaughter Sinema is a safe bet (Mardi Gras Murders? Killer Kringles?), I feel a little less safe but still willing to bet on a scarezone adaptation (Invasion? Path of the Wicked?), and a Legacy Sequel (PsychoScareapy was referenced in the Tree Graveyard Boutique...).

To be fair, there's a lot of stuff across both Slaughter Sinema houses that they could use. In all honesty, between the two houses, I'm surprised that out of all the movies featured in the first one, Yeti got 2 houses of its own. Don't get me wrong, they were good but give some of the other segments some love.

Want to make fans happy, three things

1. No caps on FFP or at least much larger number of tickets for sale.

2. Increase capacity, more houses / shows / rides to pull from overcrowded streets.

3. Bring back Bill and Ted

That is also not a fresh idea... We used to have the Festival of the Dead Parade as a yearly tradition until they just didn't have the space for it.

I'm totally fine if they want to include a sequel original, but I'm cool with just one.

Give me 1 sequel, 1 Slaughter Sinema expansion, and 3 or 4 totally new originals.

They’re likely going to avoid replicating anything at Vegas. They need Unleashed to stand on its own, especially when it has half the houses Orlando and Hollywood have. Orlando having the same house as Vegas is going to encourage people to come to Orlando INSTEAD of Vegas because there’s more HHN here.

Which is a big reason (along with Epic) why I think Monsters gets a break this year.

I’m hearing enough IPs to think a replacement is on the table. Whether that is true or not remains to be seen.

That’s not completely true. Fox only had rights to the RHPS film adaptation. The Rocky Horror Show rights are very available.

They would have to very carefully work around any iconography/character design that could be associated with the movie adaptation. It would honestly be more work than it's worth trying to figure out what would be fair game, and what Disney/Fox would have an issue with them using.
