EXCLUSIVE: Universal Orlando Resort Unveils New Menu for Halloween Horror Nights 2025

My main questions/comments about the menus:

• Why is he acting like it's scary to eat deviled eggs? Deviled eggs are awsome
• Is that popcorn just a big cup of popcorn with three chickie nuggies on it?
• Love that they named a Wyatt sandwich after The Muscle Man Dance
• How much will that one cheese stick cost? $10?
• Will there be a riot with them changing the Twisted Taters to just a handful of seasoned chips?

Details are just starting to whisper out, but I’m not 100% on portal locations or anything.

But… it looks like most all but one house is getting a dedicated soundstage for queuing.

This clearly isn't the full lineup but I'm a little bummed if this is what they're leading with. Where's the wacky Korean corn dog? Where's the left field savory option like shakshuka that'll hit just right at midnight?

Twisted Tater options have been going downhill for years (I still miss the ones with the sausage in the middle) but switching them to a bag of chips is criminal.

Edit: I agree with Tereglith (I commented before I saw they said the same thing.) I think this is just an early preview not the entire roll out of the menu. Usually the booths have had 2-4 food items per booth and this preview seems to be basically showing 1 food item per listed booth. I'm sure more will be coming.

I'm looking forward to seeing what else they come out with - at this point it looks like they only released 1 food item/drink per house. So we should have quite a bit left!

I hear your concern!! But do we know officially that they've been replaced? Or could this be...one...version of it? Since we haven't gotten the full menu? I do agree though if they shift it to chips period then this is going to be disappointing for everyone.

To me, it’s the fact that they’re calling them “Twisted Tater Chips”. Why add confusion and serve both Twisted Taters and Twisted Tater Chips? I could be wrong (and hope I am!) but it seems like another way they’re trying to cut costs (no need for skewers and possibly smaller portions overall).

The Today article calls the pizza fries the only returning food. But they also say the deviled eggs are topped with "Tahini" so who knows lol.

Could also be an attempt at improving throughput. Scooping pre-made chips instead of bespoke preparing one potato at a time would help with the long lines from last year.

TBH…a lot of these items look like they’re “Uh oh. Food costs are up. What do we do?” kind of options.

I hope that I’m wrong, but from what I’m seeing so far…

But yes, a scoop of chips with some seasoning will definitely help with labor as well

I think I have eaten one (1) food item in the (admittedly few) years I've been to Horror Nights in Orlando. It's just too hot for me to want to get after the various carnival-type foods that may normally have some appeal. Besides, I have precious beer calories to think of!

I took that as meaning the only returning item from the article - but who knows!

Boy, not liking this menu AT ALL. The devil eggs looked good before I read they were just sugar bombs.
Hope better stuff comes out later, but if this is the reveal it's not looking good.
