I SPOKE TOO SOON

Rad-Away it is, I guess! I'm gonna be real, the food booths this year are kind of a pass for me. I do like that they're still experimenting with new ideas. The choice to serve birria at the Crooked Lady booth is amazing for the pun, hah.

We may not have gotten Nuka Cola by name, however if you look at the drink menu...

Dark

Planteray® OFTD Overproof Rum, Old Forester® Bourbon, DeKuyper® crème de cassis, Fernet-Branca® and cola soda.

...it is definitely in there in spirit!

So which original (assuming no IPs) will not get one?

That’s normally where it lets into the park right? I’m guessing the entrance from Citywalk will change due to RRR demo

I want to say it was part of the exit these past couple years. They would block off one of the rows from the exit and you entered through that.

Yeah, last year the resort entrance was through the park exit. I can imagine it'll be the same for this year due to HRRR's demo.

Kinda disappointed by the food menus this year, honestly. Obviously. it’s a personal thing but I can’t tolerate spicy food very much and it just feels like so many items have some sort of spicy/heat added to it. Just give me some regular marinara for my overpriced cheesestick lol

Something I noticed that maybe I missed - no special donut at Voodoo?

I always make a list each year of items to try and I have quite a bit for this year - so it's a success for me on that front so far!

My memory is like 0-for-3 so far in these threads this year LOL , but I don’t remember the Voodoo Donut seasonal being official or mentioned in the Universal HHN related marketing materials.

The coffin donut with the pretzel cross is seasonally available during HHN but not an official menu item from Universal

I'm sure there are beers that are less palatable when it's warm and humid outside than the Lacto Kooler ... but none immediately come to mind!

I see Lacto Kooler often at the Daytona Total Wine and it's gotten hella expensive, like $22 for a four pack. Maybe Universal just decided they'd rather have 400% margins than 200%.

The beer selections overall this year are a bit of a letdown. I'm happy to see Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale back in at least a couple places, but it seems like there's a real paucity of drafts overall. The only place with any variety is the Club Horror Bar, but even those are just kind of generic drafts, nothing lightly themed like the Batsquatch IPA of yesteryear.
