That would be a nightmare for Express! They can't even handle The Mummy during the day. I saw Express flooding into the street all due to Facial Recognition backup, on multiple days in a row.

The Express facial recognition for Epic is pretty seamless, honestly. My face would usually be scanned before I even actually got up and stood in front of the scanner.

On the topic of physical/mobile tickets - I prefer physical, but I've never had an issue with my phone dying. I just screenshot the Express ticket and put it as my lock screen for the night lol

I just wish they would fix the bug where my premier pass and my hotel express causes a red light after 4pm. The workers then ask me which one to use and they have to punch it in. System should be set up to preferentially pick the unlimited ticket over the one time use ticket.

Maybe because the mummy queue is very dark, because it was consistently bad there. I didn't use it, just saw the backup every time I used single rider. With HHN so dark, the facial recognition being able to operate effectively scares me.

I think there’s gonna be a rude awakening for people championing the FFP express cut come event time, but I’ll be glad to be wrong.

I wonder if the sluggish global economy and inflation will have any impact on attendance?It’s wild how much flights have increased over the past 5 years on top of seemingly everything else. Has overall attendance at the parks dipped this year?

It’s hard to see how a several hundred or even thousand express passes spread across 10 houses, for 8 hours / night, across the entire event would have any significant impact.

Yeah, the net result will be Express pass holders clearing the system a little sooner (since there are presumably fewer of them) causing standby times to drop a little bit earlier at the end of the night. But standby times for most of the night will be just as bad, potentially worse if there is actually a large group of FFP+Express who buy down to basic FFP.

I still don’t get the logic behind making you choose the first night of the multinight passes. you’re charging for the whole length of the ticket. I purposely chose opening night even though I’m not going until mid-september.

I don't either. If it was less money if you picked a later start date it would make sense but that's not the case. I go opening night anyway so picking 8/28 is what I have to do anyways.

Evil Dead Burn is one of my personal most anticipated of the year. I love the franchise and i love this specific movie. I am guessing this house will be very aggressive

I feel like these days the early rumors and speculation are always true and the “drama” while we wait for the official announcements is literally people trying to drive website traffic. How many times did I read Hellraiser wasn’t happening ? Or Nightmare Fuel? Etc…
