Not in a million years would I take my kids to see an R-rated horror film. I'm not sure what people are thinking sometimes.

My now-10 year old has been wanting to go to HHN for the last couple of years. He keeps insisting he's ready, but then we went to Epic and he did Monsters Unchained and he refused to get on it because he was scared. That's how we know he isn't ready.

So, with it being after 10:35 is it safe to say it's an IP shared with Hollywood and Fortnitemares is coming?

I've got a friend with a 12-year-old who wants to go to HHN and he was asking me if I felt it was appropriate and I'm like... man, I don't have kids, I have no idea. The event says 13 and up, so I guess depends on your kid? We live in Charlotte, so Scarowinds is the local thing (but Scarowinds has been kinda garbage for years so just because she loves Scarowinds doesn't mean HHN is a good fit for her yet).
But 4-5 years old seeing Evil Dead Rise? That just feels like a bad move no matter how you look at it, imo.

Speaking of EDR again though, if the house happens, I kinda hope to see
the blood pouring out of the fireplace near the end of the movie

It always depends on the kid. If those kids can handed Scarowinds, they can likely handle HHN.

Interesting! I would have preferred to have a medley of IP music similar to MoM, but this could be really fun as well.

It's my understanding that it's the Lagoon Show.

That would make alot more sense, weird to me they wouldn’t say that, as my first thought was a stage show due to the recent Broadway/west end run.

I know most people in this forum are Stranger Things haters but MAN

My first year at HHN was 2019 and it was our honeymoon. I remember the lagoon show that year and the projection mapping where the buildings got slowly outlined in the iconic stranger things red outlines with the theme music playing and it just felt so BIG. It was a really, really cool moment that I hope to experience just one last time with this show. I'm really excited for this!

Edit because I didn't wanna double post but forgot to reply to this

I may not have gone last year, but I went the year before and there was no wait for one of the Scarowinds houses. There were--no exaggeration--TWO scareactors in the house. No effects. Some strobe lights in a couple rooms. Scarowinds was decent years ago, but it has gone so downhill and cheap with scares that I'm not positive I'd agree with this comment nowadays. But as previously stated, idk much about kids lol and i was the kid who was afraid of party city, so TRULY what do i know ahahha

Has there ever been something like this before, where there's been a house and a show (or equivalent) in the same year?

Not an IP. Sweet Sixteen had The Arrival which kind did that.
