Yeah but my point was this could mean we get the next acrylic figure.

This is actually an interesting point that I didn't think about - how the 2PM house openings will affect the daytime tours. I've only done the 3 house UTH tour during the first timeslot of the day - and that ended around maybe 10:30-11AM?

Safe to assume the 6 house tours probably go until at least 3PM, right?

It’s usually about two and a half hours for the three house tour and the latest time slot I saw was for 11:45am

While the length is about five hours for the six house tour and the latest reservation time I saw as 10:15am

I imagine even with 2pm house openings the houses need to be cleared of guest a minimum of 30 minutes ahead of time (though I feel an hour is probably more correct) for show director walk throughs/any fixes that need to be done

Can I remember my wife's birthday? No. Can I remember an acronym from a throw-away 80s B-movie? Oh hell yeah.

I wouldn't want to be the one that has to figure all of this out!

So as I found out last year on my 6 house tour, the crews will work on the houses even if the UTH tours are in there. When we were going through Fallout, they had to test something they were working on in one of the scenes that required them to turn out the house lights when we were in there. Only took them like 5 mins, but was kinda eerie walking through the house with the regular show lighting, but no sounds or other effects.

Yeah, I have seen this too, it’s eerie

They still have to do a walkthrough of the house in show mode before they can open it to guests, so the point still stands that they will need some allotment of time before 2pm

Yeah, I am curious which house is going to be left off the tours (again, this assumes we can access 9 by booking both a three and six house tour) as that will obviously play into the logistics

Really the simplest solution is that the ones that open at 2pm that are allowed to be featured on the tours will have to be on the six house tour so they can be done in the morning

Wouldn't it be easier for them to be on the three house tour then

This puts the three house tour end time at 2:15pm, which conflicts with the 2pm house opening times

True but I don't see all three being on the six-house tour and see one being on three house tour and then two on the six house

Everytime I look at UTH times, I never see a 3 house time earlier than 9AM.

Those late times must sell quick!

While I agree, it’s going to depend upon how many three house tours they are selling

I have never seen more than 2 groups in a house at the same time (though admittedly there COULD be more, I just haven’t seen it) and you cannot just run the one house at the top of the tour for everyone

The groups always start at different houses to split up meaning that unless they really restructure things, at least one group would have to have that early opening house last, which butts up against the 2pm opening time

Since the lineup is now finalized, I have prepared my personal "HHN 35 Vibes" list - one movie I'll try to watch to correspond with each house and zone. Some are obvious, others are more of a stretch. It's always a bit of a guess with the originals especially. Link to the list with my notes on what goes to what: HHN35 Vibes

I also tacked on Daybreakers to go with Nightmare Fuel: Blood Noir (RIP Sam Neill)

WNUF is always a good idea.

But the sequel (Out There Halloween Mega Tape) might be a good idea for this year as well. Matches up with Invasion a bit.

What you saying is true but that also is true for the six house tours I think. While I'm sure they could get those houses done earlier on, I still don't see them getting it fully done by 2pm if all three where on one tour.

Not necessarily true

If three houses takes 2.5 hours and the latest six house tour start time is 10:15am, they could get those three houses done by about 12:45pm

This allows a significant buffer on time

Then again, all of this assumes that both the three and six house offer different houses AND that all three of the 2pm houses are on the tours

Drop one of those two early entry houses (most likely one of the IPs) and suddenly there’s a lot more buffer time

I find the logistics fascinating, honestly

Good point. It's been a few years since my last UTH so how long is each house would you say?

I would say about 35-45 minutes

Simple math is that the tour runs 150 minutes and you are hitting three houses so they are allowing 50 minutes for each house. Granted this includes the introduction to our guide, the walking between each house, a bathroom break, and probably something else I am forgetting to mention.

The last few years they have made some effort towards keeping the houses relatively close to one another for the three house tours
