It will be all originals. No way will it involve other IPs. That’s like Universal giving out the IP rights to Jason last year. There is no way.

With the Caretaker + Cindy scarezone, I decided to do a little research because almost all icons were before my time at HHN and I like to have a little context before the event if something new (to me) is coming. I read the wiki page and I'm a bit confused and I'm hoping an HHN old timer can help lol

So Cindy was in a fire and then became the Caretaker's daughter? And then died and then got telekinetic abilities?

Or did they just change their minds on the lore and she was the Caretaker's daughter biologically and the thing with the Bearer family didn't stick?


Also, while I know Fortnite sounds like a goofy IP to bring to HHN and I don't disagree (even as someone who plays regularly lol), I could see them doing at least some of the original characters and making them spooky. Like this one introduced last year could def be creepy in person and not cartoonified

I def don't want a bunch of kids at the event either, but I do see some potential in some of their original skins/characters

Or would that be a mash-up of 35 years of varying zones/houses, and Hollywood would feature more of the icons?

The theming was nice, but it just felt so small. It might have felt better if they had a way of separating it into a few different rooms - and if the outside light didn't illuminate the entire store lol

Also not to be a downer - but it seems like the zones are heading the same way they did at HHN30 (mashups/best ofs). Not my ideal scenario, but we'll see!
