So something I vaguely remember them saying at the panel when J/O was announced (I'm too lazy to pull it up on YT right now to get exact words) was that the J/O house was going to spill out into all the rest of the park, and we will see how Jack and Oddfellow affect everything... What is the hive's thoughts on how the zones, even Fortnite, will be affected by Jack and OF?

J/O is the only abbreviation I'm using for that house now, thank you.

I don't think the IP zones tend to get touched much, although isn't there scuttlebutt that we're getting HHN skins in Fortnite? Might kinda loophole that in there.

I can kind of see that. My question is how that “house spill” theory ties into the mega IP clown zone? Maybe that’s the Clown-verse that they get lost in (if it’s being tied to the house).

Going back and watching the panel, I don't think it's going too deep. It sounds like this is very much akin to last year where the Conservatory in El Artista was the source of all the evil from the event...Which just so happened to bring us modern properties such as Fallout, FNaF, Terrifier, Wyatt Sicks etc. .

As usual the year's visual theme is what's going to be prevalent throughout the event, be it the lighting, music etc. I don't doubt we'll hear Oddfellow's whistling between music tracks, and probably will see his symbol in various places. As for Jack, him having another show fits pretty well. But that's probably the extent of how they're "affecting" the event. Any zone, house etc. that's in the event? That's under the usual marketing blanket that they brought it to the event for the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares.

I definitely didn't think it would be that obvious, hence the intrigue around it lol. I've also never seen Caretaker at the event, so I had no clue about the clock connection!


Side note - it's great to see the Central Park zone including the area in front of Animal Actors again. I hope they continue to utilize that space in the future.

I'd argue that The Caretaker needs to lead an HHN event again (along with Cindy). Aside from Jack (and maybe most recently with Dr. Oddfellow) The Caretaker is the most popular ICON.

I long for the day we get a Bloody Mary return.

But I would love to see old icons return to host the event. Director/Usher event would be fun. We had more lore added to Storyteller and nothing has come of it yet.

Well, if the Storyteller were to quite literally return in any form, it would be an Anniversary Year. Her demonic form was a nice surprise in 30, so I'd be down for her coming back as there's more to do with her.

If anything, I could imagine it maybe being similar to how Oddfellow was "in every zone" in 2023.
