In some crazy 'never see it coming' level moves, HBO is developing a TV series set in the world of Hellraiser, with David Gordon Green (Halloween 2018) directing the pilot and early episodes, and Mike Dougherty (Trick r Treat, Krampus) will be helping produce and co-write the episodes with Mark Verheiden (Daredevil, Heroes).

Makes me wonder what took so long. Movies aside, there's been a great Hellraiser comic series (ti's been around for a good decade or more) with some very good stories that are ripe for a series. Hope they adapt some of them.

It depends on whatever network scoops it up for me. If it's on Netflix then it'll be over the top and I'll be excited.

It'll be on HBO, if it goes through.
