I could definitely see them using GMR/UoE as a jumping off point to address their own closing. Make it a satire of attraction closings with protests and the what not. Would be hilarious and a great send off.

Dr. Malcolm (taps security camera and talks into it): "Ah, now eventually do you plan on having attractions in your Hollywood Studios Theme Park?" (taps camera again and breaths on it).

Mickey Mouse: "I hate that man."

Just a few guesses off the top of my head:
- Wonder Woman
- James Comey
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- Beauty and the Beast
- Despacito
- Probably a light dose of Trump
- Hillary Clinton (in the woods?)
- Sean Spicer (in the bushes?)
- The Mooch
- Game of Thrones
- Get Out
- Avatar

Since this is the "Farewell Tour" they could almost do an entire show based on the biggest things in pop culture throughout the show's run leading up to now.

I miss Sean Spicer, he was hilarious.

But "The Mooch". Man, what a great character. So smarmy he texted his wife to congratulate her on the birth of their child. A script writer would get fired for writing such a cliched character. Maybe we get some PharmaBro, though. He was great, too.

Does Universal record any B&T performances? I would love to see a DVD/Blu-ray collection of past shows.

They record it every year and then lock it away so no one ever sees it.

I don't know who "Wyld Stallions" is on YouTube ... but every year they get a pretty decent recording of the show, editing together multiple angles, with good sound. Yet strangely each year they restrain themselves from posting it until after the event has concluded.

So I'm not saying Universal posts the show every year after it's done ... but maybe they friend Joey Jo-Jo Junior Shoobadoo is doing it.

ETA: of course, not profiting on it, so DVD/Blu-ray seems a no-go.

Congrats on your track record of attendance. I've been to most since 1996, but damn you got me beat!

I fondly remember the show being better back then myself... but I always wonder if that's because I was a teenager back then?

Yeah I think the show would definitely fall under parody, which is protected.

They actually made some changes after the Jack Sparrow thing. Now when a character shows up they are almost always referred to primarily as the actor. This of course makes it nearly impossible for someone to claim they are using their character since they are parodying the actors portrayal of the character. There's a few exceptions to this like Rylo Ken last year.

It seems like that has been a non-issue for years with more recently the fear of big PR issues like what happened in CA taking precedence. I have to imagine this show makes executives super nervous. I mean think about it, you're running a multi-billion dollar company creating a world class family resort destination and then over here you have this show that's a mine field of political incorrectness in an ever increasingly boycott happy society that will use social media to tell the world how evil a company is based of one single incident.

This ^. Parody is a tricky thing, and there's little question in 2006, which started this whole mess, they didn't do enough to differentiate Jack Sparrow and Lex Luthor from the original characters.

I'd add that when you do see actual characters--not "oh it's [actor's name]"--efforts have been made to clearly differentiate them from their actual appearance. E.g. The Avengers as costume-less high school students or male and female strippers, or Han Solo with a walker and Leia as a nurse.

But lately I agree political ramifications have likely been just as large an issue. As I said earlier, I can sympathize with the show being more trouble than it's worth by now. It has to be hard to have a major component of your crowd control be subject to closure based on a single cease-and-decease letter from Disney or a negative story on Fox News or in Watermark.

One issues is companies can sue. They will likely lose but it still costs a lot to defend. And then there's bad publicity - that's what killed the USH show. When Huffpost and then LA Times picked only part of the story, Universal was accused of hate and racism. In a court of law Universal most likely would have won a legal battle which (as you point out) is protected. A big company usually doesn't want that kind of publicity. No one would remember (and the press wouldn't report it) if they won - all people will remember is the accusation.

Does anybody know if Bill and Ted meet at the end of every show or is it just random? And when they do meet, where are they located?

It's not a guarantee, but they are out most of the time after shows, never the last show of the night though. When you are walking down the bleachers exit to your right. In the far corner there's a railing with bushes and a fence behind it. They come out the door in the fence and everyone usually lines up along that railing.

Only saw it for two years, since I'm not a must do HHN person, but I enjoyed it immensely. I always hear people on this forum complaining, but it was funny as all heck to me. I laughed at just about every comment. Comedy is the hardest to write. Those B&T writers & actors did a really good job. My hat is off to them.

We need some B&T love here.

Great show this year and you can tell where they altered the show for it to be a goodbye. This cast is having a blast and are nailing it.
