Definitely a slow-moving series. Luckily, I stayed patient and it began to pick up (somewhat). When I first heard of the show's plot, my first thought was, 'How in the world can they make an entire series out of this?' I think the character variety is just.. odd. Like, it doesn't totally make sense. Haha. I still plan on finishing before going to the event, though.

I feel asleep during the 1st episode of FDTD. Couldn't believe the whole episode took place in that liquor store, really? It's only 10 episodes, so I'll push through it, but I hope it gets imaginative. If we have to walk through that liquor store at any point during the maze, I'll be pissed!

Not particularly my cup of tea, but I'm determined to watch it so I'm not confused in the maze. Call me crazy, but I think the idea of vampiric serpent women entrancing men to become their next meal is insanely interesting. I've never watched any of the films, but I don't really think a television show was the right route for this story. Hopefully my mind will change when I'm done watching - only 4 more episodes to go!

Just finished watching earlier today, and now that I look back at it, I'm glad I did. The series really doesn't pick up much until halfway through, but once it does, it gets a lot more interesting. There were points in the show that were quite predictable, and other times where I had to rewind because it took such a confusing turn. The way each episode plays out certainly isn't a "Point A to Point B" kind of layout, since it consists of many flashbacks and replays in some kind of effort to help you understand parts of the story. The fun part of watching the show for me was looking at all of the cool scenes and thinking how awesome they'd be in the maze. One thing's for sure: if they want to do these Culebras justice, they better do some nifty prosthetic work on their scareactors. Freaky stuff.

So, anyone wanna send that review to Rotten Tomatoes?

Is there no AP discount for HHN on the dates in September? I hope i'm missing something because I really wanted to be able to get the discount on either the 26th or 27th of September.

So I asked John about the Hoh Closure and if that will allow scenes to get redone for faceoff and he said that he didn't know about it till late summer and they're just going to add props, etc for the maze.

AVP at first place on that spot then AWIL on my second, then Dracula *Giving it a fair chance* and then TWD. Fifth, sixth and seventh *not in order* is the FDTD/Clowns/Faceoff mazes.

Kinda disappointed that AVP is not on the ship like it'll be in Orlando.

I want to see AWiL after all the hype from UOR as well, but I just... I just don't know. Maybe.

AVP in Orlando is supposed to feature an original story (featuring the Alien and Predator, of course), so we'll see how that plays out compared to ours.

I think you might need to still give it a chance as it was in the day and it wasn't finished.

Standard disorienting 3D maze with unoriginal freaky clown concepts. Giggles and Gore at UOR looks to be more original and creepier.

On top of that, you could easily tell that, in terms of budget, this was clearly a throwaway maze. The striped hallway, the ice cream truck, the clown horde stitched together, the "gutting" gag...we've seen all of that stuff used before. I was hoping to have scenes of people getting mushed and crushed into ice cream.
