I envy y'all who are able to make it opening weekend. I can't make it that time and my Frequent Fear is blocked out the entirity of the weekend after. So I have to wait a whole additional two weeks before I can go. :( :( :(  All the more incentive to stay off the internet and get out more during that time because there's going to be spoilers galore online once everyone goes. At least I'll get to go to Scary Farm and Dark Harbor within that time but still….IT'S GONNA KILL ME!!! NUUAARRGGGHH

They may have announced it a couple hours ago but it's been on the website since it launched so it's nothing new.

This will be the first year of my going (since 2006) that I will be skipping the show.  I just could not get into them last year, so will be focusing solely on the mazes.

And her face won't look any different from the rest, lol.  If it was a nice combination of male and females dancers....dressed up as various celebrities and movie/tv characters....and telling pop culture jokes....and called the show Bill & Ted.....I'd consider it

To be fair, I dont care for any of the shows we have and typically skipped them. B&T was nothing substantial IMO

Err, last I heard it was the night of September 13.

Also, TCM facade is facing towards the backside of the buildings on the plaza. It's placed right next to the main WW entrance that goes through the bottom of the tower. I was originally thinking that they'd have the facade facing the main walkway as the Waterworld sign does but I haven't seen anything stand out from that side.

I can see both sides of the Jabbawockeez.  They don't exactly scream, "Halloween", aside from perhaps their masks.

But do consider this:  they do have their own full show in Vegas, and tickets are in the $50 range.  And for HHN, they are included in the price of the ticket.... that's a pretty big bargin, even accounting for an abridged show.  Plus, they are locals, so you have a hometown crowd.  From a management/stage production/tech point of view, their show is probably much simpler to put on than B&T.  And the shows did seem to be filled, and most people I talked to (and note they were more GP than enthusiasts) really seemed to like them.

I can totally see how it's justified to bring them back.

Personally, I saw the show twice last year.  I did like it, but not love it.  My main complaint is that I wished it did have more of a Halloween theme, but there does seem to be some word that may be the case this year.  But they are a very professional group, and excellent dancers.

As much as I've wanted to like B&T, I concede I only enjoyed it for the eye candy.  The scripts have always been "meh" at best, and in that sense, I don't miss them at all.  The hype never really lived up to the reality.  I also feel the same way about The Hanging at Knott's... never really understood that love either.  An isolated joke here or there was good, but as a whole, it usually is pretty weak if you ask me.

I've never seen both, but isn't the USH production a different show than Vegas or is it really just an abridged version?

As for B&T, yeah the comedy is hit or miss but it's more about the atmosphere, the actors and general silly vibe making for a refreshing break from all the scares. Jabbawockeez is just more grit, and the levity isn't there for me. However the show is a lot more fun in Orlando two-fold against the old Hollywood version. Both aren't at all the height of theatrical entertainment, but they provided a much-needed contrast.

However I can concede that Jabbawockeez plays much better to the LA crowd. When the show was pulled in 2013, the most vocal uproar was online. However if it was pulled in Orlando, I have a feeling that the lines would stretch back to Mummy for Guest Relations, as it's a twenty-five-year-plus tradition.

The HHN shows for Jabbawockees are unique to USH. Vegas is a totally different thing all together.

Thanks! That's what I had been told, especially with this year's version.

Oh, I'm sure they are different.  Just as Cirque du Soleil's shows are all different.  But my point is that the Jabbawockees are doing professional shows that that people are willing to pay $50 for in Vegas, and they don't get any haunts out of it.  :) So the fact you can see them included for the price of your HHN ticket is nothing to complain about.  Really, people should be excited we get a custom Jabbawockeez show, not complaining.  Or if you do really feel that strongly about not liking them, then don't go.  But the fact that their shows seemed to be full every time pretty much says you're in the minority.

As far as levity, the show last year actually did have a number of funny moments.  But point taken, it's not entirely meant to be funny necessarily, just entertaining.

People ARE excited to see a custom Jabbawockeez show. It was very popular last year and is a big draw this year. We each have our own likes and dislikes; nothing wrong with that. I would prefer more shows. I loved "SlaughterWorld" and "Rocky Horror". I miss the "Carnival of Carnage". I would love to see a horror themed magic show. I like to have the maze experiences broken up by something else. I personally get tired of maze after maze after maze.

From IU's twitter account, we have some amazing pictures of the Freddy vs. Jason façade..

...It feels like to me that façade is somewhat on quality with Orlandos...although; that's my opinion.

Are you talking about Orlando facades in general because this wasn't in the Orlando version
