Never forget Murdy tried to mislead people when the Slaughtered Lamb façade was being constructed. 

That's Murdy being what he naturally is, a Carny. This instance is a good example that Murdy can try to mislead us and create doubt and confusion because he doesn't want us to guess the property. I'm gonna stick with Krampus.

Like Galind mentioned, we should probably wait until construction progresses further before saying definitive statements. It matches pretty well but the Slaughtered Lamb looked like the Myers house for a bit during initial construction. I can say with confidence though, it's not Amityville.

Maybe the reason Murdy is so avid about denying Krampus is because he knew it would be obvious once the facade started taking shape. I am definitely leaning towards Krampus for JP. Can't wait to see that area all done up in snow and Christmas lights.

I wonder if Krampus does come, do we still get Dark Christmas upstairs? Or does it come to the lower lot in the form of a few stilt walkers? That's definitely my favorite scare zone of recent years.

Murdy said that all of the houses this year will be IPs, so no original content. Also, he will not do two houses with a similar theme. Murdy wants variety.

I have some hope that Krampus does have some references to DC, but yeah.

I would have thought that he was just referring to houses. In other years to my knowledge he has said " all IPS" and we have gotten original scare zones. Couldn't we have a Dark Christmas scare zone to compliment a Krampus maze? ( not unlike silent Hill or my flavorite "pigz") Me personally though I want saws back on the lower lot. ( I know.. unpopular opinion)

I have a feeling we might get a lower lot scare zone again now that congestion has eased up on the lower lot, which was the excuse last year. It's no longer the epicenter of horror nights since we are rumored to get more backlot access.. It'd be amazing if we got a Jurassic Park themed scarezone!

It's still going to be very congested. Maybe a hair less, but it will still be thick enough to where we can't have one. The only way to get to the backlot is through the lower lot.

I think he's talking about Dark Christmas coming as a scarezone, not a house. Hence he suggested maybe moving to the lower lot with stilts. Which just no God please no.

The porch appears to be straight and not slanted, where as the Krampus house has its porch slanted.

But then again, the Halloween: Michael Myers Comes Home facade had a porch that wasn't slanted while the actual house had a slanted porch.

I also wanted to mention that Murdy says that Maze codenamed "Wisconsin" the ending is a original twist (he didn't mention if it was the maze or the movie) which also adds another reason to believe that Krampus is "Wisconsin". I also believe that the El Cucuy Wig Cami will be one of the Krampus minions. If you don't believe me that Krampus is "Wisconsin" the latest HorrorNightsFan13 speculation of "Wisconsin" seems pretty legit (I agree with you on the Germany part but not so much on the city part).

Thanks for the shoutout Justyn! As I said in there I'm not huge on my connection but it's something to consider. Seems too obvious but a lot of the time the obvious connections are the ones

Five carnival workers are kidnapped and held hostage in an abandoned, Hell-like compound where they are forced to participate in a violent game, the goal of which is to survive twelve hours against a gang of sadistic clowns.

I mean, the plot sounds like a HHN house and Murdy already has a great working relationship with Zombie from all the previous work they've done together. Gotta keep those clown costumes in rotation, right?

Nah. Murdy already locked in the line up before the film even had a chance to get off the ground. It's also been getting several release issues because of its extreme content. 


I would say the chance of that happening is pretty much zero.

Today is the Conjuring 2 premiere at work (last night was Warcraft, go look at video/pics. It was kinda epic). If we were getting Conjuring for HHN, it'd be awesome for them to announce it at the premiere tonight. Wishful thinking at its finest.

Rob Zombie has his own haunt event now (which changes locations every year), so if anyone is doing "31", it will be Rob Zombie himself. He's had like 4 mazes at HHN anyway (ok sure... 3 out of those 4 were "House of 1000 Corpses" but still lol)..


Has anyone been to the park recently to see if any action has been made for Exorcist at Mummy?
