Rockit was an idiot today. First there's a 45 minute wait on a dead day. Then it breaks down right when I get in line. THen what do I see as I sulk away? I train full of passengers! So after I come back from Mummy, the wait's an hour. :bang:

I finally rode HRRR Saturday after waiting through 40 min. of "please step up OVER the edge" and "hasta" in single rider line. It was fun but pretty force less the first time. It wasn't as rough as Hulk but not as smooth as Sheikra. Sunday morning I wait 5 min. in stand by and didn't put my lap bar on as tight and experienced some awesome airtime. I then got in the single rider line and rode a third time after wait for a tour group of 50 people. You should have seen the look on the TM's face when the guy said group of 50:lol:. The sound system was great. I pick Kickstart my Heart the first and third time and Gimme all your Loving the second time.

It kept breaking down on Sunday. Broke down around noon or so and they couldn't bring it up. They did give us an Express Pass 'paper' thing so we could return later since it granted access to Rockit. Didn't see it up until around 4PM. Waited in line to go on it and it broke down again at around 6PM. Luckily, they were able to finally fix it.

I seem to have horrible luck. Everytime I get in line, it breaks down right when I'm about to get on.

You mean the coaster? or what part of the coaster breaks down? I don't think anyone truly knows what the problem is but it has been the biggest disappointment of a theme park ride since Rhino Rally at Busch Gardens. It is a fun ride when it works but for a year old ride It is not good to continue to have issues.

Just remember, Rockit. Just because you're photogenic dosn't mean that you can break down whenever you like. :P

Gotta factor in all the bells and whistles on the thing.

Don't forget the music license costs as well.

Do you think they bought the rights to the songs or they pay royalties each time the song is played? I'd think the latter.

I'm not sure they have to pay the artists at all. Most of the bands on HRRR are under Universal's music label.

True, most of the songs on the normal list are under Universal; but most of the "secret" songs are not.

Great pics Mantaguy!

Well logically a coaster doesn't cost 45mil, so I would think it have to be the music.
