This is a great rollercoaster. My only gripes are that it's the roughest rollercoaster I've ever been on, and that if you're not fast, you tend to not be able to select your music and, having ridden with music and without, I have to say that the rollercoaster isn't complete without music.

Someone threw up on it yesterday and they shut everything down for a few min. While I sat in the seat waiting to go, I was surprised to see the music selection software was powered by none other than windows mobile. haha

I don't know what the big fuss is about with express access, it's one of only 3 rides in the entire resort that doesn't accept express passes right now. So 3 rides out of about 50 you have to wait in line for, I am so sorry for the inconvenience.

Someone's a sour patch.

I'm not complaining or anything. It's just... it's been nearly a year since it opened! And they still don't have it?

Honestly, though, I hate Disney for bringing fast passes to their parks (and then Universal shortly after). When Everest first opened, the line moved by so quickly. (almost too quickly, actually! I wanted to slow down to look at everything in that highly detailed queue!) Now that is has fast pass, the normal queue is painfully slow moving. I'm staying onsite at Universal for the very first time soon (fist time staying in Orlando, actually, despite me visiting all of the parks quite a few times), so of course I'm going to not complain and actually use express.

Once again, hatetofly, you have impressed me with your Rockit pics, especially this one:

Thanks, that was my favorite picture from today. I was trying to peek around the soundstages for HHN crap and I just happened to look up.

^I guess those vines didn't grow the way Universal wanted them to, I think that trench area would look better filled in with concrete. Great pictures though! HRRR is awesome!

I haven't ridden it, but I can see the ridiculous amount of brake runs as a turnoff...

Not to mention it breaks down far too often. Yesterday I was lucky and got on once. I tried again and it broke down. I heard people leaving the line saying that this was the second time today that this happened to them.

It really dosn't matter. You barely notice the brakes. The only one that slows the train down considerably is the first, and that gives you time to enjoy the view high up. And besides, with out them, the ride would have an even worse capacity.

I went on the ride today and was stuck with yet another rough ride. This is what stopped me from riding for two months. Looks like I'll be staying away again. Just not worth gaining a headache.

They really should do whatever necessary to fix this.

I like the break runs because you get great airtime on every one of them

Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to ride it. We stayed at the Studios for almost 13 hours the day we went, we managed to fit in everything, including the shows, bar Beetlejuice and HRRR. Next time we'll try to fit it in, but next time won't be for a couple of years :(

I finally got to ride RockIt! It exceeded my low expectations -- which isn't say much, I know -- but it totally surprised me. Those ridiculous amount of break runs? Well... they might actually be the best part. You get a ton of air time off of those things! I loved it!

Favorite coaster ever? No. Favorite coaster in Universal? Porbably, but that might be because I'm mad at Hulk for giving me whiplash and Dragons for losing my phone (although I did eventually get it back and it was still functional -- which is a miracle, considering it endured falling out of a coaster and 2 days of Florida afternoon showers).

How did you get the phone back? Did a worker go and get it and give it to guests services who then called up your family to tell them that they had your phone? (Whoa, that's a mouthful!)
