Just rode this for the first time ever last weekend.

My first ride was unfortunately quite rough and jerky, second ride was MUCH smoother and third time was rough again.

Is the secret song list no longer accessible? For all 3 times I rode I kept holding on the HRRR logo for about 5-10 seconds and nothing happened.

It still works. I used a secret song on Saturday. It is 10 LONG seconds. Like 1 Mississippi..... 2 Mississippi etc, etc.

Problem is if you don't get seated quick enough you don't have enough time to select a secret song before the default kicks you out.

I've never had a problem with time on the secret song. The trick I use is start holding the button as I'm pulling the restraint down. I usually select my song with time to spare.

Video below is shows that you only need to hold it for 7 seconds. Watch the timecode on the video.

Got back on this today for the first time in a while. I was happily reminded of how awesome this ride is in the front seat. Listened to Cyanide by Metallica (hidden track 701).

Its a good ride, just not for 50+ million dollars. The ride was rushed from the get go and Universal made a mistake by going with Mauer Sohne. The ride still has numerous issues and battles with extended downtimes. It can't run in freezing cold weather or high winds. Its completely failed its estimated capacity thus why we haven't gotten express and there are CONSTANT issues regarding the integrity of the trains and its wheels. While yeah its a fun ride, for 50 million I would expect something with better quality, higher capacity, and better theming.

They should knock it down and rebuild with a better coaster design. Use that Potter money, UNI!

They don't run Hulk in freezing cold weather, either. I believe dueling is the same way.

Really? I have never EVER seen the Hulk closed other than due to lightning or maintenance.

Well, you have to consider, how often does Orlando see freezing cold weather, anyway?

I saw the hulk closed once for cold weather. It was when I went back in november and it was in the morning, but as the day progressed and got warmer it was running again... The dragons weren't running either

I've seen Hulk closed twice this year due to cold weather. Once on January 3rd (day after JAWS closed) and then once in February. Like Elizabeth.June said it's usually only for the morning.

If I recall correctly, the minimum operating temperature for B&Ms is in the low 40's.

I've seen the Hulk close for storms before. Apparently if it rains too much it messes up the sensors in the gamma tube and in the rest of the coaster.

^The sensors aren't the problem. It's the drive tires for the launch system. Rubber is slippery when wet.
