I really wish they would have done a double loading station like Manta and SheiKra. I'm sure the moving platform looked good on paper but in real life, not so much. They've been trying to run a lot of trains the last few times I've been there and have had brake run stack-ups every time.

The only thing stopping that idea was the need for space. There's just not enough room back there for a double wide station like Manta's. And I guess they could've gone with a double length one like ShieKra's, but since the trains are so small, theoretically the fastest way to move people through is what they did.

I find that the coaster has a rather bad song list. Being a 50's, 60's, and 70's fan, there is about four or five songs I like (favorite being Billy Joel). I would love some Beach Boys, Elvis, Eagles, Chicago, Bee Gees, AC/DC, and more.

On another note, has anyone ever rode it with Night on Bald Mountain playing?

It would of worked a lot better if the moving carpet loading platform was about 75-100 ft longer allowing about another 15-20 seconds loading time.

Again, the space. The ride time would've had to have been compromised. Right now I think Rockit actually has one of the best lengths of any coaster for what it gives.

I rode Rockit again yesterday. It was down in the morning so we decided to do Simpsons, MIB, Jaws, and Beetlejuice (they were testing trains on Rockit though). After Beetlejuice, my Dad and I noticed Rockit was back up, so we decided to ride. It was a 75 minute wait, and when we entered the stairs to the station, it went down... for like a minute or two. As I boarded, I listened to Daft Punk. It was a fun ride.

i agree.i hope the new batch of songs coming out will be better.
i know this wont happen, but i would love to see some indie songs on RRR. Some MGMT or Flaming Lips would make it such a great ride!

Man, AC/DC would be awesome. Shoot to Thrill is probably like the ultimate coaster tune.

I just got my HHN tickets by fed-ex yesterday and I noticed on the back in the express pass information it says "Express not valid at Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket"

Why would they put that on the tickets unless the ride would be open during the event.

A good thing and a bad thing:

GOOD THING: HRRR will be open at HHN.

BAD THING: Still no Express by then...

Should this be submitted to HHNRumors?

Express might be open but just not for HHN. They don't want to get in trouble with the people who are buying HHN tickets for the same reason people now are saying about Express.

They'll simply turn you away and not let you in. Don't want any jackasses coming in trying to scare people and cause trouble.
