As I said in my earlier review, even though it is a flippin amazing coaster it's still a Big Red Eyesore. yes, it is EXTREMELY photogenic and i love finding new angles to snap shots of the thing but it still destroys alot of theming. I wish they could have found some way to place it in the back of the park instead (maybe in the World Expo section, I think it would fit much better there).

Well, it does kind of fit with the whole production theme in Production Central..

It does have two cars, and I think it was in fact going to be longer but they cut it due to budget.

It was always 2 cars because the thought was going to have 7 trains on the track at the same time.

Nope, not many coasters have that spice, but lately the Hulk is serving up more headaches then it is a filet mignon.

Not two cars which it has but rather was supposed to have TWO tracks and extend out to the water way in citywalk.

I understand all the headaches with going over the water and safety issues, but I would have loved to see it have two tracks.

People complain about it being cramped in its space with just one track. There's just no room for two.

So your telling me you thought there was room for a 4000ft coaster where it stands now? Just because you can't see it doesn't mean its not possible. And what if two endings were possible as well? :blank:

Something as awesome as that could have really made this a top coaster.

Rockit does fit into the theming of production central, I never said it didn't. What I meant when I said it destroys theming is the way it whips through and in front of the New York area. I mean, it destroyed my precious Ghostbusters Firehouse, and now it's impossible to get a good photo op of the skyline of New York. :(

On a happier note, I was there Friday and FINALLY learned how to unlock the secret tracks (hold down the logo for a good 8 seconds). I was able to unlock I Want You Back....fits great with the ride!!!:happy::happy::happy::happy:

From Screamscape:

General Park News - (5/18/11) This goes out to anyone obsessed with the Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit coaster and those secret soundtracks. Over the past year I’ve heard rumors about a few tracks being dropped here and there… or a few possible identifications of older tracks, but I’ve heard next to nothing about new tracks.
This is despite many repeated confirmations from various Universal crew members over the years about plans to adding new hidden tracks, adding new seasonal tracks (Halloween, Christmas, Mardi Gras), or even the original promise that the public top tier song tracks would be updated a few times each year to reflect the current crop of popular music in the world today. I know the ride has suffered more than it’s fair share of technical problems since it opened in late 2009, but nearly two years later, you would think it would be about time to update the music.
Of course this all comes to mind as a reader has sent in a new track number identified in the hidden list… [HASHTAG]#125[/HASHTAG] is The Great Gig in the Sky from Pink Floyd.

I forgot about the promises of new tracks. I know it would be expensive, but it would be nice to get at least a few new tracks each year.

It sounds like Screamscape wasn't told about the tracks being added for Rock the Universe. I don't see a reason for Universal to make any drastic changes to the song choices this soon after opening, anyway. Adding songs (if possible) would be great, but it's still a little early to begin replacing songs in my opinion.

I would be happier if they just removed the ride.
