Yah. Fallons a good attraction for the small footprint it occupies. F&F, Simpsons and DM Minion Mayhem are not as good as Fallon, so why penalize Fallon for their shortcomings.DM is popular, but that's because of its IP. The attraction was much better with 3D, plus it has a very small capacity. It's screen without 3D is like the Simpsons screen, poor definition.

I would still say the DM projectors are in overall better shape than Simpsons.

Fallon is the exact kind of C-ticket a park needs. People are not rope-dropping it, it is fine not great, and the guest surveys are consistently high.

Parks *need* these sort of rides to round them out. And based on guest feedback it is not going anywhere anytime soon.

DHS and DAK would both be infinitely better parks if they had a few Fallons in their lineups. "Oops! All E-Ticket's" is a legitimate issue.

Rides can and should be a little bit bad sometimes. Fallon is not ground-breaking, exceedingly entertaining, or thematically interesting, but it does its' job as a competent fun indoor ride that I can count on riding in less than 20 minutes. Same with Transformers.

I'd argue that Simpsons, Minion Mayhem, Supercharged, and before it left, Shrek 4-D do that job substantially worse. The lack of variety on top of that leaves USF with a notable stink imo.

As much as I dunk on Fallon, I do think it is the better of the three basic simulator rides (Simpsons, Minions, and Fallon). Having three pure simulators is kinda overkill IMO though.

We're already off topic so I'll just say - Fallon is my guilty pleasure for all of UOR.

I’ve always enjoyed Jimmy Fallon. I don’t Stan or love, and I get the complaints about him/his show, but he’s kinda perfect for theme parks. His goofy, lighthearted, unserious energy is perfect to host a theme park attraction.

Plus....Hashtag Panda, the Ragtime Gals, the lobby, and the hilarious queue videos are like an entertainment attraction themselves. Put the phones away and enjoy all that preshow stuff.

I love sitting in there with my friends finishing a drink from finnegans while taking turns playing games on the tables, underrated hangout spot lol

Let's try to swing things back toward Rockit - we do have a thread for the state/future of Universal Studios Florida.

Had the worst experience with HRRR this past Saturday. I don't know if our row had seats adjusted to fit another body type, but the seat felt like it was adjusted in a horrible way leaning back too far that my already short legs were uncomfortably close to the seat ahead of me. The seat itself also was rocking side to side the entire time. So yeah, not only did it hurt but it felt like it was ready to fall apart.

It's time for this ride to die.

That's hilarious considering I had the complete opposite experience last week. Rode fifth row and it was surprisingly smooth.

I guess rattling is a more appropriate descriptor. Like the bolts could be tighter or something

Slightly off topic but does anyone know why on that map Minion Blast is labeled as ‘future’ rather than by its name like every other attraction?

They only update the permit map every 5 or so years, unless it directly affects the project site specifically.

Alright so that means that part of the map is from the period where Shrek was closed. Thanks!

Yep. For them this is actually fairly up to date. KidsZone is still there and not DreamWorks Land too though, although at least it has DreamWorks Destination instead of Barney lol

It's crazy that RRR is closing relatively soon and we don't have firm details on what's replacing it. I feel like usually around this time we'd have a full simulated ride through (half joking).
